Bowls

For Steeler fans, the PSU vs Kentucky game is one to watch. Kentucky has the pass rush OLB prospect Josh Allen who will likely be off the board by the steelers pick, but beyond that they have maybe 5 DBs who will be drafted and they have tall CBs.

Penn State will not put much in the draft this year. They only have 3 starting seniors. You can watch their secondary for CB Amani Oruwariye who could be a 1st rounder. He has good size and makes plays on the ball. The other guy would be redshirt Junior John Reid who is a slot CB.

Reid was their top CB and looking like a 1st rounder until he blew out his knee and missed last season. This year he was hesitatnt early and got better as the season progressed. If he enters the draft, he could be a great value pick

Allen is going to be a top five, maybe even top two pick.

Have to keep an eye on Iowa's A.J. Epenesa. He's a sophomore, but is going to be a explosive DE.

Apparently Mike Tomlin is now consulting for Penn state with a terrible fake punt run in their own territory

I can't understand that sort of playcalling unless they have noticed an obvious flaw in their return team all season.

FYI, the CB Amani Oruwariye is #21 since PSU doesn't have names on the jerseys. He's 6'1 so he has good size.

3 free points for Kentucky courtesy of Tomlin Jr.

It obviously wasn't much of a flaw....

I hate all the players sitting out. Michigan had some sit out. Now LSU has almost no CBs and other defenders sitting out. That just sucks.

Penn State is not ready to play. Michigan vs Florida II.

Yeah Allen is a beast

Also watch Benny Snell Jr at RB if he’s playing
Go UK all the way!

McSorley out. Now playing Sean Clifford, their 3rd string QB because their 2nd stringer Tommy Stevens is injured and had a surgery a week or so ago.

Pretty obvious which team wants this game more. Penn State mostly going through the motions and Kentucky fired up.

I just hope my Dawgs beat the brakes off Texas tonight.

motivation is huge in bowls. I don't think Texas is that good. Georgia should win easy, unless they come out flat because they are disappointed about choking vs Bama and missing the playoff.

That’s what most these games seem to be
Except for the playoff teams most of the lower rank teams are beating the lower rank this year

McSorley is back and throwing picks. 27-7 UK

I don't think Snell is that good. He's a workhorse and that's it. He might be a decent backup in the NFL but he's too slow to be a lead back.

He doesn't look right though. He's usually a high % passer but he's missing a lot today. His WRs aren't helping him but that's normal for PSU this year. Lots of drops and very few catches on contested balls.

Some PSU sources saying McSorley playing on a broken foot

That was a good game to watch. Thought Ky was going to blow their big lead.
