Booing The P*ts and the message it sends...

"Proven?" I guess you and I disagree on what that term means.

In a court of law, the outcome was there was no where near enough evidence to prove the balls were purposely deflated. Remember, it was the one man circus who concluded otherwise, not a legit judge.

Did you forget about spygate?

So,the CEO "says" it was not any kind of endorsement, but Manning got 50 cases of free beer out of saying it? Well, preplanned or no, it looks like it paid off.

I agree. Pretty smart thing to say apparently.

S P Y G A T E. Nice case of selective memory, have a good night putting cheaters on a pedestal

Roger Goodell certainly tried to...after he swept it under the rug as quickly as posible.

Not to mention the Patriots practice of sending a staff member into opposing locker rooms to steal play sheets. Yeah they are a real model of integrity.

Sorry POP, you're wrong, IMO. They are hated for what they did to the NFL, and for getting no real consequences for the scum they lived on purpose.

People hate the cheating, favoratism, and the continued cheating.

I wish you liked the Steelers, though.

when you are docked 1st round draft picks, that is like stamping you guilty

For the ONE MILLIONTH TIME, steroids were not illegal in the NFL in the 70s and players all over the league started using them in the 60s. There was no anti steroid policy in the NFL until 1987. On the other hand, Pats* were told to stop cheating via a letter sent to all teams and kept ******* cheating the very same year they were handed the letter.

I rather watch ice cream melt - then freeze it again and watch it melt all over again than watch any *'s player be celebrated...

Yes but he cheated to get there and that kept us out of one or two. Therefore the hatred is not irrational.

Most of New England was not aware that they even had a football team until 2001. Po-tay-to, po-tah-to.

Winning titles ALWAYS creates a strong fan following. This is undeniable. But your above statement is hardly accurate. I knew of die hard pat fans back in the days of the minute man on the helmet, plus Parcells had some decent teams up there during the Bledsoe era.

As an owner of a microbrewery I promise you this is horseshit.

The guys who own Bud and their ancillary products are ruthless. Distributors are very well compensated for ensuring that no less than 98% of their product placement is Budweiser products and the like. We're talking 5 digit bonuses. AmBev is in full on panic mode about how the craft beverage industry is gaining ground and they are brutal in their marketing efforts.

No, Peyton was definitely paid to shill for "Budweiser". I absolutely guarantee it.

Hey you have experience in the business, I'll take your word for it.

If Brady had taken his punishment with class and dignity this season, I think he might have fostered a bit of good will among some fans. But the fighting and taking it to court and constant arrogant denials just made him and the Pats look worse. I laughed when he was booed. I honestly didn't hear that much booing of Branch. Maybe I didn't have my TV turned up loud enough.

Even their fans arrogance in denial add to this. They all buy the "he was called the deflator 'cause he lost weight" story hook, line and sinker. I mean really? No i mean REALLY?

4 of ours were ancient history; most people in attendance don't even remember them. Pats have been to 6 in last decade and won 4 since 2001. Kind of a big difference.

Ancient history? Just because you are still wet behind the ears doesn't give you the right to say all fans don't remember the first four super bow wins. I know plenty of steeler fans, younger the 30, that know our history and are proud of it. I know fans of other teams who will ask questions about what those teams were really like to watch. You make it sound like they played in the 1920's. Make sure you take some klenex and lube with you to your room when you masterbate to your Tom Brady posters . . .it will save your mommy the hassle and embarrassment of trying clean the stains out of your sheets.

You didn't say which way the women would be facing, I said she was the hottest tail on earth, not prettiest face.

Dude, I'd split that like a ******* lumberjack on the first thrust. Sorry, I'll take Upton all night long, and partway into the next day.

Joe

Hey, that is why there is more than one flavor of ice cream; to each their own. No one can tell you what your personal preferences are, nor should they.

I happen to like "T" and "A." But "A" is first love.

he didn't say they had NO fans, he said most of the "fans" they have now did not know they existed prior to belicheat.....

Exactly, prior to that most of them only knew of the Red Sox, Celtics, and Ted Williams' frozen head.

Really? I have lived 17 miles south of Boston since 1993 and had no problems getting tickets to that shithole in Foxboro for any game even after their SB run in '96. Never seen Pats jersey at that time...only Red Sox and Bruins with the odd Celtic jersey now and then. Even my father and brother in-law have no problem telling you the Red Sox are the number one team here and it's not even close. The high school football up here is beyond an embarrassment...I have no doubt even the smaller PA high school football team would curb stomp even the bigger schools here.

but nationwide the Steelers have tons of fans.....

I went the the nfl.com contact page and told them they have a lot of nerve calling out fans for booing the cheaters when they have allowed it and basically sanctioned it. And also that they were doing a pathetic job of running the league.
