The league has issued a tepid statement about fans lacking class for "booing" some members of the MVP class in the pre-game celebration. Notable among those booed are of course P*ts Tom Brady and Deion Branch.

The thing is, people paid a great deal of money for those tickets. Those weren't $100 or $200 tickets. They certainly weren't $50 tickets. Those were upwards of $2000 tickets. And it wasn't a small contingency of the crowd that voiced their dissatisfaction toward Brady and Branch. It was an overwhelming, obvious booing. This makes it pretty clear on a worldwide stage what everyone thinks of the P*triots legacy.

Now honestly, when it happened, as you can imagine, I was giddy with joy. However this morning I actually took pause for a minute to think about Branch. I wondered fleetingly what it must have been like for him, a simple receiver who'd actually gone to other teams and even returned to the P*ts and probably been one of those guys who just ran routes and caught balls. He probably doesn't know very much at all about the true extent of the P*ts cheating (although who the **** knows how deep it goes.)

So there's Branch, up there to be honored as an MVP at Superbowl 50, getting Booed, by thousands of people before a hundred million viewers on television. Seriously, that's got to sting somewhere in the back of your mind. If you've got any conscious at all, that's got to get you thinking. "****. Really?"

And that's what I've been saying all along. The fallout for the P*ts cheating is that the rest of the team will always be cheated of the respect they deserve. Despite the fact that they have all been good, even great athletes, they will always be tied to the scandals and the stain of the P*ts and their cheating. And we saw that on Sunday. They were booed by an entire stadium on the largest televised event in the world.

Ponder on THAT NFL. This is what you've allowed to fester.

**** Tom and the NFL. I booed Brady when he was announced at SB40 and the guy in front of me turned around bitching (he was a Bengal fan with a free tix). My dad told him he paid a lot of money for my ticket and I could do as I pleased.

Dear Roger The Dodger,

**** the Pats****, **** Brady, **** Belicheat, and **** you for letting it go on for years and doing almost nothing about it and certainly for not stopping it.

Sincerely,
Every NFL fan outside of Massachusetts.

I loved every single second of it and laugh my *** off every time it happens, just the same as I do when people rain down boos on that ******* Goodell every time he speaks. **** em all. When Brady goes into the HOF I hope he ******* gets booed for 30 minutes straight while he's up there talking.

Well what do they expect? People have a generally poor opinion of cheaters. People that have been caught cheating multiple times are liked even less. I guess Rodger Dodger should have put a stop to it by giving out some real punishments rather than covering things up for his homeboy Kraft.

BOO! MR BUNDCHEN IS A CHEATING ****!

The team cheated...the NFL had the evidence the team cheated and destroyed it. The owner of the Pats still has the same cheating coach leading his team. They made it...they can eat it. Every single person associated with that team will live with the stain of their actions. My hope is someday the whole thing is exposed and each and every one associated with the scandal is barred from the Hall of Fame.

I think Wig makes a good point but my disdain for everything Pat* refuses to let me view the situation fairly.

Regardless of who is responsible anyone with any ties to the organization regardless of their character will be labeled a cheater.

Unfortunately the NFL has allowed it to happen and still have a real problem with accountability.

Booing the Pats will NEVER get old, never go out of style. Really, why would the league expect anything different? Do they live in another reality?

The fans color it as they see it.

Belicheat should have been banned for life back in '08.

This whole issue would have been wiped clean if Kraft would have fired Belichick in'08. I think everyone would have no issues with Brady if he won the SB last year if it was done outside the cheating.

I didn't tune in until kickoff, so I missed it. I wonder how much Kraft pays the media and NFL to deflect all the criticism and prop the frauds up.

I loved the booing. In my mind it sent a message to those assclowns, out side of P*triots fans, the rest of the NFL's fans hate you and thinks your scumbag cheaters.

Massholes can go fist them selves with that stupid *** slogan too. "They hate us, cause they ain't us" We hate you because your arrogant, delusional, **** stain, douche cookies.

I don't think he pays them, I think he threatens them with reducing access and not renewing contracts.

I just think a really huge and overwhelming message was sent. I mean that was live television broadcast to over a hundred million viewers.

And Br*dy and I guess now we have to call him Br*nch were Booed. They were booed in front of the whole ******* world. The P*t's fans can only bury their heads so far in the sand before they poke up in ******* China where, guess what - The Superbowl is on TV and everyone is ******* BOOING T*m Brady and Deion Br*nch.

That's gotta hurt!

Those stupid douchebag sunglasses didn't help his cause either. Didn't realize he came straight from the Jersey Shore. He might as well have come out wearing Uggs.

Bah, I don't feel bad for Branch at all. I don't buy into this notion that he had no idea of the cheating. Plus, his career numbers weren't anything impressive. Pats* have had two real MVPs, Ernie Adams and Adam Vinatieri.

If Brady had taken his punishment with class and dignity this season, I think he might have fostered a bit of good will among some fans. But the fighting and taking it to court and constant arrogant denials just made him and the Pats look worse. I laughed when he was booed. I honestly didn't hear that much booing of Branch. Maybe I didn't have my TV turned up loud enough.

To be honest I barely paid attention to the game. I have found that since Goodell took over I have become less and less interested in the NFL and have done what I can to not help the machine make money. I have been to 1 game in 6 years and that was to Lambeau a life long bucket list thing to do and it was on my birthday and that year my friend got season tickets for Green Bay after being on the list for 30 years. Had to go. I only watch Steelers games but I TiVo it and start an hour after the game so I can fast forward the commercials and not have to see the solicitors. And during the draft I go to the bar just for round one and again don't list to commercials just talk to the guys around me before and after picks. The rest of the draft I see online and don't see any commercials.

Don't feed the machine people lets see the NFL start paying taxes and start losing money and then things will change.

I don't think Branch had to know anything. I don't think anyone on Offense, outside of Marsha had to know. he gets the calls and any updates in his helmet. He is the only one that needs to know what the defense is doing. Still, I think it taints the whole team, regardless of how much they didn't know.

It's the defense too....I can't remember if it was the 2001 or 2004 AFC Championship game but Hines Ward was complaining the Pats (Bruschi) was calling out the Steelers plays before the snap.

I'm sure Troy Brown had to know when they threw him on defense those several times cause of injuries. I'm sure he got the list of the opposing offenses audibles and checks like the rest of the guys on D.

it only takes a handful of people to make that succeed.
the coordinators, marsha, whomever has the green dot on D and one or two equipment guys.

How about Manning from the locker room compulsively drinking Gatorade with pallets of Gatorade in the background, think that was staged?

Maybe the league shouldn't have destroyed the spygate tapes. **** them for sweeping **** under the rug. This should have been dealt with years ago
