The Steelers have found their mojo and will be a force to be reckoned with from here on out.
This isn't Joe Namath on 2 creaky knees not lasting 4 games with the LA RAMS. (I still remember him getting pounded & swallowed up in the pocket, it was brutal to watch)
We just added a 4 time MVP & the Ultimate Gun-Slinger at QB who even @ 41 is pretty darn dangerous...I am predicting a TB12 Tampa Bay Revival type thing...Rodgers decision making at the LOS hasn't diminished at all. The dude is a tree hugger & watches his diet, works out, & he still has superior arm-strength…
We get him just a little time & he will pick teams apart. I also think he's gonna have huge chip on his shoulder, which is always good.
I am thinking he's gonna put on a show & play lights out...
Not me…I got receipts from the day he signed…

Things of that nature, obviously.Like out of a canon, flame and stake, or job related ?

Rodgers is doing the best he can in this limited offense with limited weapons, but he’s a step down from 2020 Brady.
If Rodgers had that Bucs OL, defense and Chris Godwin as his WR2, the Steelers would be 7-1 right now. Antonio Brown even joined the party later that year.
The guy can still play at a high level, but both he and the coaches don't seem to trust the pass blocking, and I think they're doing him a disservice by not more aggressively finding a WR2, though Roman Wilson might be starting to develop into something interesting (recent fumble aside).
I know Tomlin doesn't want hostages, but it remains difficult to not think about what the offense would look like right now with George Pickens across from Metcalf.
Ok now swap the head coaches what is the record ?
I think it is more X and Os than the lack of personnel.
Agree slash, and we saw what the Pickens was while he was here……… not the answer.

Largely in part from the common denominator all things seem to circle back to…a coach that can’t reach or teach players will have these same issues repeat over and over as we have seen play out.
Pickens was a solution if the coach could do hard math…you know, like basic single digit addition problems.

The Cowboys definitely throw the ball around enough to keep both Pickens and Lamb happy, but I think I still might have taken the risk with Pickens for this season.Steelers paid $150M to DK and he gets 6 targets a game. Pickens would be melting down getting 2nd WR scraps.
This team only wants one legit WR, they don’t value the position.
I’m no expert.
Do yinz share the same sentiments?
Are yinz “Blown away “?
Cowherd points out….
Takes a dinosaur offense the last 7 years to top a 10
Top 10 in TD passes
Top 10 in competition %
Top 10 QB rating
Rodgers is on pace to surpass the great year Favre had in GB.
Cowherd also states to bolster Rodgers value and contribution…
Tomlin deserves NO credit.
Running game still sucks….”I can average 1.7 yds a carry falling down, and so could you.” LOL
O line average
The D not very good,
My opinion…holy mother of mercy we’d could very well be 0-8 without Rodgers!!!
…and Tomlin deserves some credit for acquiring Rodgers.
imagine the difference, with Ayahuasca A-Ron and his good decision making, with Pckens, DK, Muth, Warren and one of Austin/Wilson/Smith/Washington on 3rd downs. The Cowboys definitely throw the ball around enough to keep both Pickens and Lamb happy, but I think I still might have taken the risk with Pickens for this season.
If it looked like it wasn't working, they could have moved him before the trade deadline.
The Steelers weren't willing to do that, though I understand their reasoning.
Regarding DK, they currently don't throw vertical enough to take full advantage of what he has to offer. We've seen flashes of it, but little consistency.
It gets back to trust in the pass blocking, especially with a QB in his 40s.
I don't think they give DK the contract they did if they don't value the position.
Part of it is the Steelers seem to like Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson more than those outside the team do.
