Even if they blow it up, is anyone confident that Tomlin and Co. are competent enough to develop those players into outstanding NFL caliber players? We have drafted plenty of talented players in the first 3 rounds and hardly any of them have panned out. This coaching staff has proven time and again they cannot get the most out of the players they do draft on the defensive side of the ball. The scheme ******* sucks and does not put players in a position to be successful or match up to their strengths. Yet the scheme never changes regardless of who the DC is. The more we run this morphed Tampa-2 the more we look like hot ***.

Burns was a SOLID CB in college, he has the potential, why is it that Tomlin and his staff can NEVER develop any of the players that we draft.

Would never happen. Not a chance in hell they fire Tomlin and hire a white guy. Firing Tomlin is highly highly unlikely by itself. Hiring a white guy to replace him ... not a chance in hell.

Keith Butler is a freaking retard. Keenan Allen was torching us and he continued to cover him with LB's. I friggn hate his playcalling.
If you think this defense is really Butler's, I have some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you as well. This defense is the Tomlin special. Butler was a LeBeau prodigy, we NEVER ran a 2 DL set under LeBeau. This defense is a morphed Tampa 2 and if you are willing to throw 8-10 yard passes you can march up and down the field on that defense.

Hard to tell, but on a few occasions I read where he said he ran what they called. Really hard to tell what he changes, after the call.
I just view Finch as a decent X and O coach.

If not Allen, it would have been whomever the LBs covered. Rivers would have found the matchup. We need cover LB (Shazier) or score a bunch preferably both.
