Blow it up

I mean, yeah, we've got good cap space next year so we can put some new pieces in place. This year is still salvageable too. We're only 1-2-1. People are emotional right now because they're dealing with the gut punch that is a ravens loss. That's ok, but step back and assess. There's still plenty of time to bounce back and plenty of time for the other 3 afcn teams to tank. I won't give up until 10 wins becomes mathematically impossible, not speculatively impossible.

I would not trade AB, but its time the Rooneys make some real decisions. I do think miracles can occur and we could limp into a wild card spot this year, but we have to fire off 5-6 wins in a row and I just do not see it. It is just not about our start this year, this goes back to the at least the Jax play off game last year. Tomlin has no control of the team or coaching staff, time to go. Father time has arrived for Ben How does a team of our caliber end up without any DBs except for Haden? Colbert needs to be looked at, yes he has some really good mid round picks, but Burns is a bust, Bud is not a dominate player at all,

AB should have been traded after the facebook live incident. Think Belichick would have let that slide?

The Steelers had some major problems to fix after last year and instead fire one of their best coaches in Haley. I know a lot hated him, but he was not a problem outside of not getting along with Ben.

Tomlin is brain dead. Tonight he challenged a play that left us with a 2nd and i instead of 1st and 10. Unbelievable, 2nd and 1 is the much preferred down but then crimsonsteel told me I was an idiot for disagreeing and it was a good use of the flag. Tomlin has the lowest football and situational IQ of any coach ever, males Rich Kotite look competent in comparison.

You are not an idiot for disagreeing. As bad as Tomlin is, I still couldn't believe he was going to challenge on a 2nd-and-1 play, for one yard. Then later he challenges a spot that is clearly over the line, and has ZERO chance of being overturned.

Hard to watch.

Hey Dan, love the optimism, but 10 wins? Really? Let's take an honest look at the remaining 75% of the season:

Atlanta -- sixth in the NFL in points scored
@Cincinnati -- fourth in the NFL in points scored
Cleveland -- just put 42 on the board
@Ravens -- Flacco just torched them for 363 yards in Pittsburgh
Carolina -- good team with a mobile QB, averaging 24 ppg
@Jaguars -- first in the NFL in points allowed per game
@Broncos -- Just held the 4-0 Chiefs to 27 points, led most of the game
Chargers -- tied for eighth in the NFL in points scored
@Raiders -- just put 45 on the board
Patriots -- yeah, they can score
@Saints -- third in the NFL in points scored
Bengals -- see above

Which nine of these games do you think the Steelers will win?

We need a new HC. You let Him hire his staff. You let Him decide who he wants and doesn't want. Time the Rooney's get their fingers out of the mix. Let the HC you hire live and die by their own doing.

Those are all winnable games, depending on which team shows up. We've been on this roller coaster before. Squeak out a win, embarrassing loss, bounce back for a dominating win. Repeat.

So that would be 7 and 8 and 1.

I could see that.

I think with the passing of DAN that the real football knowledge with-in the Rooneys also passed. Art II is there but NOT nearly as football savy as DAN had shown to be.

that's proof of how desperate and out of sorts he is out there

Not real impressed with Sphincter as offensive coordinator. I think part of Ben's problem is the extra pressure being put on him to call plays ect. Just not seeing much creativity in the play calling and formations either.

I'd figure on the losses being reduced as the season wears on, so 10-11 wins is still possible. I just think last season after the Bears game everyone was ready to blow it up and rebuild as well as after the Jags game. Things turned around. I just think the optimism people have at the possibility of thinking Tomlin is going to get fired clouds some of the optimism of this offense putting together some complete games and the defense becoming adequate enough to get us through a 8 or 9 game tear.

Unfucking believable. Everyone jumping ship after 4 games.

Blow it up? Come on, we don't get down like that

Sad when the only player that looked fired up was Switzer. This team lacks a real leader someone that can get some motivation started when things are going down hill. Ravens dropping the linebackers way deep and the secondary taking care of the long ball in the second half showed how lack of offensive having any other but standard plays under Feichtner. Ben had zero to throw to when they would show the replay from above. Ben had to force to many passes and 47 yard offense showed it. Our receivers go out and stop was shown over and over. Out coached once more.

So I just read from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that LevBell was told by the Steelers they were going to transition him in 2019. Of course that was in the summer when they failed to reach an agreement. I doubt they feel that way now.

get butler out change to 4-3 and man to man no more rely on zone.

execute all the defensive coaches and bring back a blitzing group...if you are going to fail...fail while attacking

During the game the commentators said we weren't blitzing so we could "play coverage ". Receivers were catching the ball anyway, so they might as well have been rushing 5-6 every play.

Forgot to add. The "offensive " unit scored 14 points. What the D did was going to be irrelevant. If you only score 14, you deserve to lose.
