OK maybe I'm just a conspiracy theorist but watching last week and this week....I saw a head coach who successfully give away a game to a division opponent in an effort to keep our Steelers out of the playoffs. Then yesterday vs the Phins...tied at 10....Steelers take a commanding lead, Bills INT Fitz to pretty much lockup the game. Bellicheat IMO looses on purpose to the Phins most likely securing Dan Campbell for another season or two for Miami because they beat the mighty Pats. Bellicheat also side-stepped a high powered Steelers offense....IMO the only team that can defeat them until the last possible week. He's one sneaky SOB.

I actually think the hoodie realized his o-line was getting Brady wrecked yesterday and pulled back to keep his QB upright. As it is, there are reports that Brady's ankle was injured and Brady was seen limping after the game.

I also don't buy throwing the game against the Jets because he wanted to avoid playing the Steelers. There was much more on the line than looking weeks down the line at who he might end up playing three weeks later. If the Cheats had won versus the Jets they have home field locked in throughout the playoffs and can rest everyone against Miami. By losing the Jets game, the Miami game had meaning.

I don't put anything past the hoodie and the Cheats, but the downside to his own team far outweighed any benefit to be gained by, perhaps, avoiding the Steelers in the playoffs.

Steelers in NE? I doubt Hoodie is scared of us. Maybe they hit a wall like Ben has the past two games. It happens.

I love me some conspiracy.

But with the Pittsburgh defense - Hoody aint worried about playing the Steelers.

Unless Blake starts a 24/7 regime of HGH enema therapy to bulk up, and speed up and he pops some phosphatidylserine like they're candy over the next week to smarten up I don't see him being much of a corner match up.

I agree, it's fun to talk about but Darth Hoodie has owned our *** ever since he's been in New England. The only way we got to three SB's in six years was because we didn't have to face The Cheating Bastiges From New England in the playoffs any of those years.

Lol. Nice thread. It has to be true.

Yeah... I hate to say it, but given the Cheat's history against the Jets and the Steelers, if I were the hoodie I would MUCH rather play the Steelers, who they seem to own, than the Jets who have had some successes against them. Any time you can put the nail in the coffin of a hated division rival, you do it.

The *s think they own us, and historically, they kinda do. They're not scared of us. But we're not scared of them either

I thnk Belicheat is a chess player. But he isn't that many moves ahead. I think when things go wrong it is because he is trying to play chess when checkers would do. But the SB last year was certainly a chess move that could have totally blown up in his face.

No way in hell any coach is going to purposely lose two games in a row and give up homefield, **** Belicheat.

That's crazy to think Coach Hoodie dropped two games on purpose giving up home field throughout the playoffs to avoid the Steelers whom he owns and to keep the Fin's coach. Ya right!

This

Ben and co. will get it together. I'm just worried about the defensive play on the Steelers side. Hope these guys have some untapped strength or whatever to carry them through

I think the cocky, arrogant jerk may have lost to the Jets as a big FU to the Steelers for correctly complaining about the persistent headphone hijinks week one as they were trying to put deflategate behind them..... but if they did, I think they did it with the idea they would blow out Miami... They aren't afraid of anyone. This loss was all on Pressure on Brady and I doubt they let guys take runs at him to lose. I also think its highly likely that when they clinched their bye two weeks ago, their "advanced scouting", (aka spies, lol) probably started sneaking into potential second round opponents practices and ignoring the semi meaningless games down the stretch

Don't think so. I think they are beat up and struggling to protect their QB. They need the 2 week layoff to get healthier but if they get KC in the Divisional round they are going to get punched in the mouth by a very physical and WELL coached football team.

I can't even read this crap anymore...

You guys are funny with this stuff. Here's what I do know about Belicheat. He hates the Jets....a lot, a whole lot. And he also doesn't give a **** who he plays in the playoffs because he plays with a stacked deck. I also know that the only team he has lost twice to in the post season is the Broncos because both games were at Mile High. So why in the hell would he purposely give up home field to the same Broncos?

Or maybe he lost the last two games so he could have a better draft pick in case they don't win the Super Bowl

Well it is really hard to say, but they only threw the ball 7x in the first half. Does not make sense for them to semi play or lose on purpose, but who knows. Now they did throw 14x in the second half, so if you were protecting players and what not you would think they would have packed it in the second half. Overall I bet the Pats will magically become good again once the playoffs start.
