Big Dot might find himself starting the season as a backup.

So Big Dot is injured. Take the time needed to be 100% like they do with anyone else at this time of year. When he's 100%, put him in with the 1's and see what he can do. Until then, we just have to wait.

AND that my friend is why we need more "adam shefter" to keep accurate and lively reports of all STEELERS news..!!

Plus we know what Big Dot can do at both guard positions in the NFL. I think it helps the team to give Coward as many reps as possible, since he's probably making this team as a multi positional player. And if Turner goes down, Dot is RG and Coward is LG.

Will Turner regain some or all of his PRO-Bowl form ? Has anyone heard how his camp is going and will he be starting at RG ???

That sir is a very tenuous limb to climb out on. You mean to say you think J.C. Hasselhoff, err hossenfruas .. well whatever ... The ex backup Center from Alabama will be starting game 1 for the Steelers if he isn't injured? I admire your bold imagination!
Ahhhh...ROOOOOLLL TIDE!!!

But, no. Get your *** in gear young Green!!!

Just saw something where Turner is mentoring Green. Haven't heard how he's playing though.

Thanks, I'll try to keep an eye / ear out if I hear / see anything i'll post.

Love this from the Athletic. Would be nice to put all this in the rearview mirror and get back to the notion Dotson is an above-the-line, plug & play LG for years to come.

Kevin Dotson, G: He climbed out of Tomlin’s doghouse and into the penthouse Thursday night, which is where he belongs and should stay as the starting left guard. If Tomlin felt Dotson needed a little kick to get him going by starting Rashaad Coward again at left guard Thursday night, it worked. Dotson entered the game in the second quarter and blocked like an All-Pro the rest of the way. Two consecutive plays in his first series epitomized his night. On second-and-2, Jaylen Samuels ran up the middle behind Dotson’s block to pick up 12 yards. On the next play, Dotson pulled to his right like a young Alan Faneca and blew up rookie defensive lineman Milton Williams, a third-round pick, and Samuels followed him for a 7-yard gain. Dotson may well be the Steelers’ best offensive lineman.

Yeah, Dotson was a beast yesterday. He was arguably playing the best of the OL last year as well. Whatever happened, but it behind you and keep this mauler on the field. One thing that was very apparent yesterday, their conditioning. They were creating holes that you've could run a truck though in the second half. And Dan Moore continues to impress.

Translation: Dotson played like a beast while just yesterday, Tomlin was being a jagoff.
for God knows what reason.

My questions -
Is Dotson the Steelers best offensive lineman or are we "just talking about a second-year player"?

Will Tomlin EVER take responsibility for anything that he ***** up? ... the horse's ***
