Big Ben hosts Steelers' skill players at lake house

So glad the local sports guys ***** slapped Florio down on this one. Florio posted it saying looks like Ben is learning from his teammates(AB and Bell) about being a better teammate or something like that.
A ton of the local sports media tweeted @Florio telling him he does this every year and has been, there was even a picture of Bell and AB there.

Not sure why the nation sports guys try to start ****, and totally lie.

ESPN's article is a day or two old. I read about this either yesterday morning or the day before. But, it is something Ben has done in the past, just not the past couple of years due to his kids. Can't blame him for that.

I hate all this ****. I dont give a flying **** who Ben chooses to spend his time with. Here is the reality. Antonio Brown was paid too much money up front. He spent that money. He wasn't going to physically play now for less than market value. So ge concocted this bullshit story to bust his contract. The lesson to be learned isn't to have Ben be chummy with teammates. Its dont prepay for future seasons.

The other lesson to be learned is we need the season to get here already, lol.

ONE word.............................

RATINGS

Salute the nation

Safe to say they won't be making the trek from Lake Oconee to Milledgeville.

You never know......................... Burgers and fries... With DTF mustard

Salute the nation

I watched Florio this morning. He had nothing but positives to say. Local sports media are retarded. And he Doesn't do this every year. But Florio pointed out the fact that just a few yrs ago AB was photographed in Ben's boat with all smiles.

There is always this talk of "AMERICA's" team and this team and that team have the best fans but it is consistantly the STEELERS who have the MOST prime time and national media agenda. That is because the STEELERS are truely the BEST / MOST / SPREAD OUT / fan base organization in the league. It's NOT that we have more troubled or in trouble players than any other team but the fact the RATINGS always jump when STEELERS are involved hence the nation media agenda. **** the national media........... Amongst other's who exploit this fact of the STEELERS.

Salute the nation

those guys are aside from bush and Dupree are are besk skill guys on the D end.

Florio changed his headline and story once local media alerted him to actual facts...*****-slapped!

No. Florio was on his tv show PFT, in the morning and said nothing negative regarding ben.

No...Pro Football Talk website. I didn't even know he had a tv show. He surely doesn't deserve one. ******* bandwagon jumping schmuck.

Big Ben bonds with teammates at his Georgia lake house

Plenty of former teammates have criticized Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for being a bad teammate and a bad leader. That criticism has been a little over the top (and it has), as evidenced by the fact that Roethlisberger continues to make an effort to bond with his fellow Steelers.

Via NFL.com, the @SteelBlitzburgh account on Twitter has been posting videos of a gathering of players at Roethlisberger’s lake house in Georgia.

It’s a smart move by Roethlisberger, who has from time to time made waves for being aloof and distant and not as collegial and cordial as he could have been with fellow Steelers. And it’s a great sign for a Steelers team that seems to be seizing on past dysfunction as the fuel for a deep playoff run in 2019.

UPDATE 11:00 a.m. ET: Apparently, this isn’t a new practice — even though the item at the league-owned website created the impression that it is. Even though Roethlisberger has been doing it for a while, it takes on extra significance in the aftermath of intense criticism from the likes of former Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, who can be seen flashing his trademark smile in a photo from four years ago on the same lake.

Headline changed from this...

Ben Roethlisberger seems to have heard the criticism from former teammates, and he seems to be making changes because of it

These media ****** need to stop peddling the false narrative.

Exactly, he tweeted it out and said looks like Ben is learning his lesson about being a bad teammate or something along those lines, then Dulac and the rest of media responded telling him he has done this several times, and one of the local guys posted the pic with AB and Bell there. More national media making **** up to stir the pot.
