I would like to take this time to present to yinz this nugget.

Kenny>Rudy - the red nosed third stringer.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

I love the word “massive apology “ in the article 😀
I feel my apologies in life must be upgraded after reading that.

I have been accused of

“Insincere apologies”....that can now be upgraded to sincere.

“half assed apologies”.....can now be upgraded to “ heartfelt apologies “

And to trump all of them..... I can now use
“ massive apologies “

Thanks for showing me the way Ben!👍

It’s pretty obvious today that Kenny ****-iN Pickett is better than Rudolf.

It’s also pretty impressive for BEN to acknowledge his perspective from the beginning to what is current.

This. It’s not like Ben said he was gonna suck.

Ya know I really enjoyed Ben and Ryan Clark when they played for the Steelers and appreciate everything they did for this franchise but guys, time to move on.
I mean I get this feeling that Kenny is in this giant fish bowl with some former Steelers looking in giving their opinions.
I’ve said it before, give this guy his space to learn and mature at his pace. He’ll be fine and grow into a great QB and leader for this team.
He doesn’t need to be the object of Ben’s podcasts and the opinionated Ryan Clark.
It sometimes feels like Ben is afraid Kenny will somehow overshadow his accomplishments.
It’s like Ben, take a chill pill and go play golf and enjoy your family. Let the new guy have his time.
And please don’t take this as me being a Ben hater since that’s the furthest thing from the truth. I loved Ben when he was our QB here but let the new guy have his time now.
I will acknowledge that Ben did offer an apology and say that he underestimated Kenny so there’s that.

Kenny will be fine.
This off-season is huge for him...
Definitely needs to work on his conditioning and gain some mass..

The reason people underestimate this kid is because he doesn't pass the eye test from a physicality perspective..
The Steelers will make sure his body is totally up to the challenges of a starting NFL QB next season.

He has everything else needed to be successful.

@Hines57 needs to read this article three or four times. daily.

He is 6'3 220. And doesn't really look the least bit fat. So not sure what you mean? Kenny needs to get better in the Red Zone. Now is that him or Canada. Not a chance I bring back Canada. I bring in Candidates and have them tell me what they plan to do with Kenny. Give them a full training camp together and I believe that will be the big difference. I believe he is going to be just fine.

It's ironic. I recall Ben having the same problem with Bradshaw at times.

I think we have a ways to go before we can officially crown someone. These last 2 wins were nice, but let's see what next year brings because unless they make a change at OC, which, knowing this team they won't, the offense isn't good enough.

They have only scored 30 points 1 time this year, still figured out how to lose that game, and are averaging under 20 a game.....

Its easy to pigeonhole a guy based off of a bad result or two. Pickett always had that NFL build, but I know I couldn’t shake that Clemson game, where the team put up 191 yards rushing but pickett only was 4/16 for 8 yards passing and 11 rushes for 9 yards… don’t get me wrong… the gameplan was ultra conservative and the D bled for 300 yards rushing… but pickett didn’t really rise to the occasion that day…
Or even last year in the Miami loss that kept them out of the playoffs .. you never had that feeling that he was going to pull it out somehow in the face of all that adversity…

I guess I might just be harsher judging the local school guys, but with Ben even at Miami of Ohio… he just felt special… Pickett was more like… well this guy has the frame and leadership intangibles to be a good pro QB… but i never got franchise qb vibes from him

I absolutely love when a guy rises to the occasion vs tough competition. In fact it is something I grade when looking at film for my board. But then there's the Troy Edwards of the world who blow up vs Nebraska and get into the first round just to show why he went to Louisiana tech.

Move on?
I thought the talking head network paid Clark for his bad takes

Still waiting to get those franchise vibes from him, gotta say he’s looked improved post bye though so good on him for that.

I’ll say have less fears of him being a reach

It’s gonna take more than 1 TD drive vs the Rats to give me those franchise vibes…you nailed it though-you could just tell Ben would be special from the first games

Hope Kenny is too

I get everything you are saying and agree to a degree.

Social Media has seen to it that there is no privacy Or lack of opinions.

15 Years ago, Ben would have ridden off in the the sunset, but today everyone’s voice will and can be heard. It’s a way to soften the relevance of disappearing.

Just go away Ben.

Apologize all you want.
Aint no way in hell Ben was rooting for his replacement to light it up, let alone root for his replacement to lead his former team to a SB.

Notice how Ben said "they" rather than "we" or "The Steelers", as if to distance himself. I say "we", as in we need a ****** ILB and a stud left tackle!
And when you have repeatedly state that you're not jealous, it means that you're jealous.

Early on I thought he’d be good, I’m not jealous, there’s nothing to be jealous of, I think he’ll be a good player for them, I think he’s going to be what they are looking for.

Ben does a podcast and is no longer a member of the team. It's free game for whatever opinion he has and it's no longer "we" for him.

It's real easy to just not watch if it gets your panties in a wad.

Ryan Clark gets paid for his talk. I may think he's talking out of his *** sometimes, but other times he's hit it dead on.

It's a free country. These guys will always be part of the Steelers fraternity, whether they played last year or made the most improbable TD in the playoffs 50 years ago.

Many of these guys don't go away. They stick around the rest of their lives.

Some folks need some of those THC gummies.

I liked what he said EXCEPT for how he refers to the Steelers

He said in the interview: "He'll be good for them, & he's just what they needed...

He should have said : "He'll be good for us, & he's just what we needed"
