By Logan Leslie SteelerNation.com Last season, we saw many incredible performances from Ben Roethlisberger. With a final stat line of a 67% completion percentage, 5,129 yards and 34 touchdowns to 16 interceptions, he continues to cement himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The opening odds for MVP show Roethlisberger at +4000, […]

You wonder what it would take with Ben the majority of time being undervalued with the people who give out the awards, along with the broadcasters, and agenda driven hacks.

I will take SB MVP.....League? Meh. Who cares.

Ben might win the Super Bowl this year but he won't win the MVP. The league will not let that happen because of the false rape accusations in his past, it would be a PR nightmare. Ben will have to get any praise and accolades based off of his objective achievements not via popular acclaim. To be honest I expect him to be kept out of the Hall of Fame despite a more than worthy career.

Ben Roethlisberger has been snubbed in the past as an example of SBMVP stonieO Holmes. It seems no mater how great he actually plays, there is a way to find lowered value to him by many of the dumb *** talking heads / fans / league. I would love for him to put it out of the hands of voters by being so far ahead in play that there isn't even a QUESTION of who is MVP. He has been in the conversation in the past but yet to no avail so HERE is to this up coming season and yes League MVP along with SB champion and SBMVP.

Salute the nation

Yep. The media hates him anyhow because he was arrogant in the past. He isn’t a favorite so even if he has the best season ever he will get no support from the voters

It's already been stated, 'he that hath no sins - cast the first stone'...

No one is infallible in the league, but oddly enough, some infractions/accusations stick with a select few for their entire career---innocence be damned.

If Ben never gets an MVP, I get it. If he gets snubbed for the HOF - heads should roll...

Yea, but it was cool to allow Ray Lewis to basically be the face of the NFL after he - at least - tried to cover up a murder. Ben acts like a pig (probably never raped anyone, was never charged for it) and they act like that makes him an untouchable evil. Acting pigish to women? Unforgivable. Covering up murder? No biggie.

But to paraphrase Cool Shades (said before they won 6), "When you walk into the complex, you see 5 Lombardi's, not 5 rushing titles (or MVPs)." I care not one lick if he wins that or not. Not one. Rings only things.

Wut???

Really? Man I hope not. I can see not getting the MVP award but not the Hall of Fame. There are some shady characters already there who have done a lot worse than Ben. That would be a damn shame.

It would be a shame. But the Femiinists are a powerful lobbying force and they have the power of the media behind them.
