Big Backs

not complaining, but I think y'all might have gotten confused about the thread title

She was never used properly

The STEELERS will NOT become a "run" 1st team. They will run m ore than they have the last couple of years but still use the pass to set up the run. If not to many fingers are put on the "O", they can remain a very leathal threat. If Fichtner can put a little balance with play action all will be good. If it becomes predictable, then forget it as they will be playing reaction instead of pro action football. There are a lot of running sets they can pass out of and vise versa, let's use those kind of set a lot. We have put some good pieces in place on both "O" & "D" and if players execute and coaches coach, we have a special year ahead. Those predicting 8-8 or less may have the final laugh but I'm saying 12-4 currently and 3-0 playoffs.

Salute the nation

Last year, they, probably, didn't have a lot of confidence in the Samuels since he was a rookie. Early on, that might have been justified. Any reservations about his ability should have evaporated and they can take Connor out and still run similar plays.

If Snell can contribute that should make it even better,

Snell will become the starter within 2 weeks of Conner going down (knock on wood he doesn't go down but history and his style makes it likely).

Snell will become all the rave after he gets some reps. It's gonna happen.

would be great since Samuels played fb in college that he ands Conner are in either I or Pistol as both you can exploit LB mismatches when they are on routes

Huh??? No it's not. Are you blind or just a ******?

While I agree with you that those buns are quite sublime,I must call you out on your phrasing. I mean really? What ******* year is this?
I probably haven't used that since high school in the late 70's.

That thing is about two Twinkies away from becoming sloppy.

Yeah, no. Look at the contours of the rest of her body, she's not a jelly donut away from getting fat. She was just god-given a big, beautiful ***. It may be a little big & jiggly for some tastes, but that's a thing of beauty my man.

2019

The Patriots actually did quite a bit of that last year.

Look at the Pats* receivers - they have no one. They will go as their RBs go this year. Not just running but pass catching out of the backfield. Same with the Ravens, who have better receivers but obviously not quite the same passing talent at QB.

To each their own; I prefer a little more firmness. "Largeness" is not on the top of my priorities.

I actually prefer a little smaller as well, but it's a thread about "big backs" and I'll never discriminate against ***** like that. Learn to appreciate all of God's work, Bobby.

All Edelman did was win the Super Bowl MVP - not sure I'd say he is a "no one" at WR. Is he your classic #1 WR? No. Is he very effective and productive? Yes.

They also got K'Neal - a big, strong rookie 1st rounder from AZ.

But, it really doesn't matter; Pats have proven to do more with less than any team in NFL history. They will take whatever parts they have and make them work and produce.

Yeah, that N'Keal Harry is going to be a beast IMO. Junkyard dog kind of guy who will do it all (and well) at the next level. Was pissed when I saw the *'s nabbed him.

There it is ....... pops loves to slob on some patriot knob....

POPS = Planted On Patriots' Sack

He's big, strong and while not a stopwatch burner (but still a 4.5 forty which is fast enough) he plays fast. Anyone thinking that they have no weapons on O and won't be productive are in for a rude awakening.

And don't forget how they kill you with a thousand cuts with their RBs Michel, White and Burkhead. If that wasn't enough, now we have to deal with Harris too.

Yea, some think they have no weapons left. They got plenty. And we will find out week 1.
