He was asked by the media yesterday if they have the talent to win a championship, he said "I think we do or are very close, but maybe it takes more than talent". Then asked what is that? Al said, "I'm not sure if I knew that I'd be upstairs doing interviews on Tuesdays, maybe look around the league and see what the teams that have won are doing"

Ramon Foster said, " the social media stuff and talking about games weeks away, etc. needs and will be addressed"

Several players step up to make similar comments. Silence from mgmt.

Tomlin clearly doesn't have control. Or doesn't care.

Where is the Deuce?

I don't see this as a shot at Tomlin. Saying look around,, what are the winning teams doing better. Makes sense.

Sounds like Tomlin runs a lose ship, and the lack of focus is on him. More Vet's taking shots. Just like DeCastro and Ben did.

# Fire Tomlin if you want to win the super bowl.

A question to those who want to look it up. When was the last time a 13-3 team failed to win a playoff game? Fellas, it could be 10 years or more since it happened.

It comes across as ineffectual, tiresome, petulant bitching about something that will never happen. Can we all agree on that?

Oh you mean how like everything is a conspiracy for the league? Can we agree on that?

No, I disagree about that. I can't get enough of it. However, I do think that something is going to give on that subject. The Patriots dynasty will be publicly revealed to be a total sham before Tomlin leaves the Steelers head coaching position. Book it!

I’ll tell you what winning teams are doing... they are winning. They are not losing to sub .500 teams. They are not romancing the media. They are not making the same stupid *** mistakes game after game after game.

And they damn sure are not kicking an onside sick and giving the ball back to the other team when they have a HOF QB who is gashing the other team with 2.30 minutes left in the damn game at home!

Then you're a dumbass, nothing else to say

Coming from the person who is widely regarding as the biggest ******* troll on the site, I take such offense to that. I'd be just as offended if El Fiero called me a dumbass.

Well then shut the ******* message board down because 100% of what we discuss on this board will never make an impact and is ineffective and petulant. So close the ******* site down. Maybe it's only topics that you disagree with that fit this criteria?

Go write to the team and tell them you want Tomlin gone. I'm sure the address is on the team site.

It's a ******* message board, it is peoples opinions, and yours is no more right than anyone else.

I never said it was......but do we really need 10 ******* threads all saying the same thing? 5 a day is probably sufficient.

Great. Closing the barn door after the horse is out.

^^This X 1,000,000

Why wasn't the **** addressed after last year when Brown was streaming FB Live in the locker room while Tomlin was talking. Any team in just about any sport takes on the identity of it's head coach, manager...etc. When a team continues to be a 3 ring circus and a giant clown show, then obviously it is not a priority to Tomlin or it would have been addressed long before now.

Well Tomlin said it would be handled, I'm guessing that didn't happen.

I'm not saying fire Tomlin, just first time I've heard a player kind of taking a shot at the coaching.

A former Army Officer that knows more about discipline, self control, and the chain of command than Tomlin will EVER know. For someone like that to speak out, THAT speaks volumes

I'm amazed how little reading some of you people do.

Villanueva was also asked if he liked “the general focus” of the team.

“I enjoy it. I have a very good position coach in [Mike Munchak]. I spend a lot of time listening to him and making sure that I’m ready to play every single game,” he said. “I like the culture. I like the Rooneys. Obviously, I love the head coach. I have a lot of respect for coach Tomlin, the way he goes about his business and what a great person he is, and what a great leader.

“But there’s a lot of things and players involved, players inclusive, that we have to change to take our game to the next level — to be the dominant team that doesn’t lose a game at home in the playoffs.”

So this has zero to do with Tomlin or the organization. Reading this thread, you would never know that. Funny how that works.

Let me introduce your to 2 terms, damage control and CYA. What he didn't say and how he said it speaks volumes compared to his "I love Tomlin" comments.
