Looked to see if I could just add this into another thread, but couldn't find the right one

Is it me or is Ben learning to check down? his whole career he has been the gunslinger. getting it down field.... last several games he is checking down. Might be that Conner is getting unstoppable or it might be that Ben is finally taking what the defense gives him!

I'd say it's the one thing Haley helped him to improve on, taking what is given, whether that's underneath or downfield. Having Bell as a weapon the last few years underneath has probably gotten him used to it as well

Bell has had a ton of catches over the last 4 or 5 seasons.......so it isn't anything actually new is it?

He still misses plenty underneath stuff for the "BIG" one and yesterday showed it. YES he is dumping and it is NO surprise but he still wants the big play and rightfully so. I think his mixture is near just right.

I think he started taking more underneath stuff in 2010 when his sack total started dropping.
