Ben Roethlisberger's day off

I know for a fact that on Wednesdays Ben is at Kennywood, eating cheese fries and riding the Steel Phantom.

I know somebody's sister's cousin who operates the Steel Phantom, and this is 100% accurate.

Wednesday is Bensday... he does a PC and then hops on his motorcycle for a joy ride. shhh.

Well, you said sane; or in other words, someone who's not in a mental coma.

Fun stat of the day: Ben currently has a 11:1 TD to INT ratio and has a 109.7 passer rating. Not sure he's ever started off a season with so little mistakes.

It's remarkable that Ben only has one INT so far...he should have had several passes picked off easily. The one in the end zone against Denver that went right through the defender's hands comes to mind. And I just watched the Browns game again -- I have no idea why Ben was trying to squeeze that slant pattern into coverage three times. Twice it could have been intercepted, and once he tried to force it into Ebron, when McDonald was uncovered on the outside and it could have been a 30- or 40-yard play.

Ben's stats are outstanding, without a doubt, but he's been rusty at times...and lucky when it comes to potential turnovers.

Luck is in the eye of the beholder, maybe BEN had a double K spin on those footballs causing impossible interception. You know he prActices that on his day off.
