Or a random food clerk atcthe grocery store.... at the Covid contagion rate and non specific symptoms Its pretty much impossible to contact trace it
Did you have a chance to see the Mason Rudolph experience for three plays on Sunday? He threw three lame ducks, one of which was waaay too close to being picked, one that flew 10 yards out of bounds (thank heavens as otherwise that would have been picked), and one completion for 1/2 yard.
Oh, and he wisely used the last timeout to stop the clock when ... it was already stopped following one of his injured mallards.
So what is the odds Ben is playing?
Dobbs will get some reps too. Best case scenario, Ben tests negative and this is all to do about nothing.
So if Ben has a COVIDED would he would have to be placed on the list by tomorrow in order to play in the Ratbird Game on Turkey Day?
******* Ravens........They have 2 Thursday Games in a Row........
I understood was placed on the close contact list, not the tested positive list.
Yeah I get that, but if he was to be put on the positive 14 day list, he would have to be put on the list by tomorrow in order to play on Thanksgiving Day. If I get the policy correctly- and I may not.
.Following a positive test, if the player is asymptomatic, he can return once:
10 days have passed since the initial positive test; OR
Five days have passed since the initial positive test and the player receives two consecutive negative PCR virus tests at least 24 hours apart within that five-day period
Following a positive test, if the player demonstrates symptoms, he can return when:
At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; AND
At least 72 hours have passed since he last experienced symptoms
In either case, a player who tests positive must be cleared by his team's head physician before returning

Is the fifth-day test Friday or Saturday? Seems like last contact was Sunday so it should be Friday am meaning he could practice...

Positive list is 10 days.
Home / Injury News / Vance McDonald Tests Positive for COVID
By Justin McGonigle
Updated: November 9, 2020
The Steelers had their first positive test among their coaching staff over the weekend and now it’s spread to the players.
The team announced this afternoon that a player had tested positive from the tests given out on Sunday morning. Vance McDonald is apparently the player who tested positive as his name came across the transaction list for being played on the COVID Reserve list.
McDonald missed practice on Friday with the flu, but tested negative for COVID. He traveled and played 20 snaps yesterday. The team is in the process of contact tracing to see who may potentially also be infected. Those players would need to test negative for the next five days and they would be cleared to play on Sunday against Cincinnati.

With 98 on the list and not able to practice until Saturday...
I assume we will see our newest ILB play alot Sunday.
During his pre-game press conference back on Tuesday, he said that he expressed no concern about the potential availability of Roethlisberger and linebacker Vince Williams provided that they clear the protocol due to their experience level, but he did indicate that the other two players’ availability—lineman Jerald Hawkins and running back Jaylen Samuels—could be contingent upon their preparation level.
