I know, I know, some hate when others bring up a negative after a big win and making the post season, but I had to say it: If Ben doesn't reduce his imbecilic decisions to throw those awful picks, we won't do dick in the post season.

I understand he is a "gunslinger" and that means he will take chances, but taking chances is one thing; making completely irresponsible, moronic decisions to throw the ball right to defenders is another.

The only reason it was EVER a game today way due to horrid decisions by Ben, and it could have been worse. Why does he NOT realize that careless, idiotic throws will kill our chances. How many times in the last 3 games has he made ungodly throws right to defenders? He is not a rookie. There is no excuse for this.

And it seems like he gets a pass for it, so he has no reason to re-evaluate and fix it. '

I just can't believe they don't fix this.

We have no time left. He must stop the MORON throws NOW.

I dunno what's happened to him this year, but the staff needs to address it.

We sweep Cincy if he protects the ball in the first game, and we beat Baltimore easily last week if he plays smarter.

There are no AFC teams we can't beat. The Big Game is in our sights. But Ben absolutely must curtail the turnovers or we are doomed, cuz we can't win it on defense.

Agreed completely

it's one thing to keep Cleveland in the game with bad passes. It's another in a road playoff game. He needs to get focused. Especially that second INT was downright terrible

wow...I knew if you did show up it would be to throw some negative **** out there. Can you not just ******* enjoy the win for a few hours before turning back into the negative ******* joke you are? Shockingly you went after Ben and not Tomlin...but I'm sure that will be your next thread

I know Ben has has his bone headed moments, but some of his picks were on the receivers also. How many wrong routes were run on timing patterns, and how many times were DB's allowed to rape our receivers that caused some of those picks? you also have to look at how many TD passes were dropped this year. Ben has played in only about 11 games total this season and was just shy of 4000 yards with 21 TD passes.

The last thing is, does anyone really know how healthy Ben is, he looks to still be playing hurt if you really watch him when he goes to plant. Ben is a tough ************ but he is also human, he could still be a little nervous about getting hit on his knee with how every ******* official seems to think anywhere on Ben's body is fair game, and there is no such thing as a late hit on him.

Easy there, twisted nipples. I operate in this thing called "reality." I am enjoying the win (over the worst team in the NFL, on it's 4th string QB) but I happen to understand that if Ben doesn't stop his moron throws, we have no chance at getting to the promised land. If you want to bang your droopy man boobs and get angry over addressing reality, then that's up to you. This team can't keep giving Ben a pass on those idiotic throws or we won't get another ring, and that is ALL I care about. And, nice ad hominem attacks. Way to go.

His receivers are not blameless either. He's forcing it to AB because Wheat and Bryant are not running the correct routes or dropping balls.

no you operate in this thing called...piss on everyone's parade.

I don't get angry over stupid **** on a message board.

but you could learn to enjoy wins a bit before you cry about what went wrong in the WIN

I did like Ben's take down of the guy who tried to block him after his second pick.....

The whole team and coaching will need to improve moving forward.

Thing is being in the playoffs might give them the shot in the arm they need.

Here is hoping.:logo:

The shot at Tomlin came with the "And it seems like he gets a pass for it, so he has no reason to re-evaluate and fix it. I 'just can't believe they don't fix this." statement. There's a lot of that passive-aggressive bullshit going on today.

I get your points, Warrior. And I also wondered if he was hurt. But, with the throws I am talking about, his health or wide receiver reads were not in question; I am talking about the plays where he clearly just throws to WRs/TEs who are clearly covered but he just throws it any way. He gets away with a few (at least 3 today, where Heath saved his ***) but you just can't be that careless with the ball and expect to win, even against terrible teams like Balt. (as was proven last week). And in the playoffs, you almost never overcome such dumb throws. You just can't win that way.

Something is wrong with him, as even the balls he's completing do not have their typical zip on them.

Whether he is battling flu symptoms, which has been speculated, or is concealing an injury, his footwork and release are not as smooth as they typically are.

The last couple weeks he's been aiming the ball a lot, rather than just throwing, and has been throwing off balance too much. He looks a lot like he did late in the 2012 season when he was playing through a shoulder injury.

I liked it too, because it showed me he gave a ****. He was pissed, and that showed me he cared. I just want to cut down the really, really stupid throws, as we can't win #7 unless he does. That is all I care about: winning another ring. I am always looking to the next step, which is why I am concerned about dumb picks. A friend was texting me "We are going to the Super Bowl" when both the Steeler and Bills' game were still in question, and I told them to get focused on winning this one first!

IDK. There maybe something wrong, but on some of those throws, the only thing that seems wrong is in his head. He can clearly see a defender right where he is going with the ball but throws it any way and just hopes his guy makes the play, which they sometimes do. Other times, like towards the end of the Denver game, just no excuse for those kinds of throws.

throwing into tight coverage just means he trusts his receiver to make a play or at worst keep the defender off the ball. His first pick, Bryant did not go for the ball aggressively the second was a bad throw, he had to get it over the LB and drop in it to AB but the pass was too low.

Bad execution, not a bad decision.

I don't like POP's regular negativity, but he is more correct than not this time. The Ben we all know and love vanished after the Broncos game, and didn't show up until the fourth quarter of this game.

The INT in the Denver game was a product of trying to do too much, but overall, he was extremely sharp in that game.

I could be wrong, but he just looks a bit sluggish and awkward in the pocket right now. I imagine if a QB is not feeling comfortable physically, it can spill over into timing and decision making

He did miss practice due to illness early in the week and he looked like one of those people in cold medicine commercials on the sideline in Baltimore.

I stand up for Ben all the time, last two games seems he is back to every play to be a big play instead of taking what is there. He threw into some tight coverage especially the completions to Miller. I'm glad we have Ben but not only Ben but the team needs to step up the pressure and make the plays needed. Look at the drives by the Brown's where we had them third and whatever and lack of tackling the Brown's moved down the field. To advance this needs to stop.

I think that all it is.....

I think he just was nursing a bug...

giving up 5 + rushing yards on 1st down need to stop
blake getting burnt or missing a tackle every other play needs to stop
WRs dropping balls or running the wrong route needs to stop

a group effort is needed moving forward...

if they lose it won't be just Ben I promise you

a lot of things to fix on possibly a short week

but then there is the in the playoffs anything can happen

Ben has his moments he catches fire and the team is hard to stop.

He is talented enough that it could happen.

again crossing fingers

There isn't a man, woman or child that is connected to this team that doesn't need to step up and stop making bone headed decisions, and it can start with Tomlin making Blake watch the game from the side lines.

If he could just bench Blake I think the odds would instantaneously go up for a long playoff run.

Stop going for 30 yard bombs on third and manageable. Don't know if that's the call or BB read.
Start taking check downs and let them work for YAC.
Stop doing ****** stupid *** gimmick ****. Yeah I know it works sometimes.
Start going to the TEs more often.
Stop forcing it to AB when he is covered
Start getting the play off before 3 seconds

Easy fixes. We got this.
