Ben apparently giving up his radio show

Why if you don’t got a Washer. Gotta take that **** out to get clean

In this case a washer would be better than a fluffier, but in another case it would be the other way around

I don't know if BEN thought of this on his own or if MANAGEMENT brought it up to help reduce distractions. I think Tomlin was talked to heavily and he is trying to change things. His interviews are more straight and decisive. I still need proof by him of change so we will see. Ben dropping the show is a step in the right direction regardless of who's decision it was.

How'd Robert Kraft get brought into this thread:biggrin-new:

I thin k his fluffier over-performed, the tapes claim it anyways................ Yoiiikkkeeess !!!!

Happy, Ben haters? The media will now say that ownership forced Ben to give up his radio show or he wouldn’t get an extension..

Pussified into giving up radio show because millennials can't be ******* adults. Now we get to listen to Madden and labriola and the tards on the fan

It’s called leadership. Ben wants another championship and some think the show was a distraction.

It doesn't matter the reasoning but that it feels like the right thing to do. I doubt it came down to radio show or extention........ BECAUSE of the person BEN is. Once the perspective was laid out, I bet BEN came to the conclusion on his own, he is that kind of person. He gives a LOT for this team in health / leadership / maturity / etc.. The media may be looking for a story but there won't be one as BEN won't feed into it. ALL the BULLSHIT media stories have been exaggerated and taken out of context so **** the media and anyone else with an agenda.!!!!!

Yeah we can argue the media and soft shoulder agenda filled players ruined it for him and us.

I wonder if the coaches or Big Ben was the ultimate decide, or a combination between both,

I would say ROONEY ultimately started the conversation about the finger pointing and like a GOOD manager started lowering / eliminating the sources. Look what he let **** chest go for due to the distraction. Bell too. So in follow up he had a conversation with both the coach and the player. I bet the player (Ben) full and willingly agreed, for the betterment of the team. BEN is the ULTIMATE team player and has grown into that role with his veterainism.

Has there been any official announcement of this?

Yes. No. I'm focused on the people here. What happened in the past is the past. We're just working to get better each week. Next question. Next question.

Carbon copy those answers for the year.

Exactly. This article doesn't have much substance behind it in my opinion and what's it really matter. The media has blown it all out of proportion anyways.

Brady speaks his mind in tantrums, don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise.

And the lesson Ben learned is how petty money hungry douchebags can be.

The **** said in his talk show was extremely mild often criticizing himself, but keep buying into what he said she said.

He should have learned THAT LESSON after the Milledgeville, GA incident...

Look he ain’t Brady and he’s gonna speak his mind. Nothing wrong with speaking your mind to players, just better said to their face. Hines said no way Steelers of his day would talk about others in the media. He learned his lesson, cool. Let’s wreak havoc
I love Ward, one of my all time favorite players, but he flat out called Ben out for not playing through a concussion vs Baltimore, he said it to the media.

Ben never called anyone out, it's over sensitive ******* that think he did. He talked to Washington directly after the game a point everyone conveniently forgets, and all he said was he needs to make that catch but he knows that.
He just said ABs route was supposed to be flatter, but Ben himself still took blame for that pick, another point people conveniently forget

I totally followed that Charles...

Leadership would be you turning your temporary vacation via Oliver, and staying away for good in an effort to rid the Steeler nation forums of dumbassery. All hail coach in his new leadership role!

If this is true, how long before that piece of **** AB takes credit for shutting that down?

After he aired that ridiculous podcast and "phone call" with his agent on top of the Facebook live incident, he has zero room to talk.

You cannot blame Ben everyone from fans to players have drug him over the coals. The guy has given his all to this team, he has accomplished plenty. Good for you Ben

Dumbass. I was talking about Ben. You might be the stupidest poster here. Angry and stupid isn’t a good way to go through life.

Good luck.

I agree with you, but he's such a self centered asshat, I can see him taking credit for that.

I'll say this, Ben's show was great, it's great to actually get real answers instead of the same old cliche answers, he gives good insight into certain plays. If it's true, it's ******* ridiculous because of the over sensitive crowd ran it off

Here’s my 2 cents..

The radio show brings no value to the Steeler organization, nor does it enhance our chances for a successful season.

Great decision by Ben to shut it down

Sad thing is Ben called himself out on many occasions for his performance. AB wanted more money. That's what his hijinx boiled down to. He wanted to be the highest paid and so did Bell. AB got his wish and ****** over his old team with dead cap money. Loved him as a Steeler but he quit on his team at the end. That tarnishes a Hall of Fame legacy. Bell took bad advice and lost a year of career productivity and pay. He can never make up that money and he will never get that year back to add to his career stats. Remember that when he washes out of the league (not this year). We know RBs have the shortest career span and this guy pissed away a year of it.
