As a rookie, I worried that Bell was a little injury prone and concerned with his rushing average of just 3.5 yards per carry.

In the off season Bell hired a PT, and dropped 20 pounds. The result was a much quicker and faster player capable of hitting big plays. Talk about a huge improvement.

Two things about Bell worry me.

1 ) Will be keep the weight off.

2 ) Will Goodell suspend him for a DUI?

Yes and yes. The DUI suspension is not really in Goodell's hands; there is pretty clear precedent set and most are saying Bell is likely to get 1-2 games.

Once Le'Veon Bells knee is cleared why would you think he couldn't keep the weight off? In fact because of the injury and the subsequent loss of his service and the frustrations of a season that could have been, he would train that much harder to strengthen his lower body.
FAK Goodell.

I didn't see any problem with Bell in his rookie season? What exactly are you talking about?

I am not sure what additional training could have done to help Bell with the hyper extension. I am actually shocked he did not have his leg broken with the way that hit unfolded.

Think he gets one game for the weed arrest. Don't think he will get 4 because he didn't fail a league drug test. We need a better backup option for him. I expect us to go sign another veteran and draft someone in the middle rounds.

I know it was one game, but I liked the way Tate ran behind our line. That said, we should probably look for someone younger that Tate, so we don't need to search again in a year or two.

Rather have Gore, think he would be a decent backup this stage in his career.
