Very frustrating. Amazing player. He is very close to MVP material. But two drug issues and the last three seasons have ended with him on the bench. I mean I know it isn't his fault, but ****. I don't know what to say. What do you do with him?

The irony is that marijuana is good for groin injuries. Actually, I guess it's good for everything.

That's a tough call. I don't think he's worth what it will cost to retain him, however how do you let a talent like that go?

Even with a healthy Bell, the offense has to go through Ben, can't run him that much and not expect him to get injured. This is a passing league, we quit using him in the passing game

Bell was definitely injured during the week, it explains him missing practice and explains Toussant getting a helmet. I just hope the league doesn't dig into that and find out that Steelers didn't give notice of the injury or we could be losing a 2nd round pick like the Seahawks might be doing.

Well you gotta hope someone else can do your dirty work I guess. Honestly, if Carr didn't get hurt it would have put the Chiefs on a collision course with NE. They at least have had success in the past.

Bell isn't going anywhere....

Bell wouldn't have made an appreciable difference in this game. Lining up at the one foot line with no threat of a pass, no RB in the league would've scored there.

Watch the play he got hurt on....he went down with little contact after it looked like Cheung tried to punch the ball out and hit him in the groin. He went right down!

I thought he missed practice because his GF is pregnant?

I for one question why they damn near ran Bell into the ground the last several weeks when they had a more than capable back to come in and handle some of the workload. Sometimes arrogance overrides common sense it seems.

What ?? He was the catalyst for our run to the postseason and winning two games in the postseason....and there was whisperings of him being mentioned in league MVP discussions and you wanna ***** about him being USED TOO MUCH.....? Seriously...? Bell played 4 games LESS than everybody else this season (suspension and resting the Browns game) so work load and fatigue wasn't a problem.

I swear you guys just mine for **** to complain about.

What has pissed me off for some time is that suddenly Bell became a run only back or they flanked him into the slot. I think if you used him like you did initially with D'will he would have been far more effective. That got shut down at least 6 or 8 weeks ago.

Just like with Parker, we got to enamored with the running game

Spot on, Tomlin ran the wheels off of Parker and now it seems like he is destined to repeat that with Bell. He and Haley seem to have no clue on how to devise a balanced game plan and utilize all of their roster based on the situation.

As with the last few seasons they lose embarrassing games early and dig a hole. Then they have to claw their way back at the expense of finding a good compliment to Bell.

Yeah, you don't want to run a guy into the ground but were you saying that the past two weeks when Lev was breaking record after record. During the regular season, sure. Playoffs, keep Bell on the field at all costs.

Yes I was. It was great seeing Bell set records but that was alot of hits he took, alot of hard running, and it was hurting the passing game.

Yep, sure was. Thought it was stupid not spelling him and getting D-Will some touches just to give Bell a break. Tomlin and Haley act like a kid with a new toy on Christmas.
