Probably the real reason was he didn't want to be called out like LT was in the Chargers last AFCC game for quitting on his team with a "minor" injury. Bell's only way out from that ridicule was to disclose his injury history. I'm not saying it was the right thing for him to do but I can see why he would need that kind of excuse or risk being called out for quitting on his team for no reason and being labeled as a *****.

VALID POINT, but what does validity have to do with a message board. LoL. Seriously you do have a good point and in all probability could be possible. The part of Bell validating his injury was for personal gain of respect / money / dumbaszzidry or something. Ladaimion Tomlinson more than likely had NO berring on Bell's decision to come out, so to speak.That happened to long ago for this "NOW" generation to have remembered that specificaly. His agent and looking forward to $$$$$payday is what most likely inspired his speak.
