Bell signed franchise tender

We could still lose though. Playing a bad* team on the road.

* I said "bad" team because the Browns don't have a losing record yet.

HANG around,......... They will after Sundy !!!!!!

I saw the spread is only 8. If we only beat the browns with a rookies qb first game with them missing their top two targets from last year and having a RB that's never cracked the thousand yard mark, I will be very disappointed. Honestly, if we beat them by less than two tds I'd be pissed.

Facts:
1. The Steelers always start slow.
2. Shades' abysmal record against teams with losing records and especially against teams with losing records on the road.

I will be surprised if the Steelers cover that spread. I will not be the slightest bit surprised if they lose. Of course we'll have more to talk about the rest of the week.

I do not want to see this board if we lose week 1.

With Cool Shades record and mindset, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see them lose badly in Shittown

I hope to be completely wrong

The Clowns don't have a losing record yet, and lest we forget they are the undefeated pre-season champs!

As far as losing to teams with losing records, the browns don't count. We've always owned them.

Yeah conditioning is nothing. Especially in the early part of the season when it's still hot as balls. It's just fine to be sucking wind in a regular season game.

It would take a -6 turnover ratio for this game to be close. It has happened before, but the browns dumped talent. We're playing a JV team on Sunday. We will kill them.

Seems to me we played a rookie HUSTON team with near that ratio and lost...............

They rostered 4 cornerbacks. 4!!! Go spread with 4-5WRs all ******* game and see how well their scrub corners match up against our WRs. I'll take that bet any day!

Mike Tomlin: Le’Veon Bell in great condition

Running back Le'Veon Bell practiced with the Steelers Monday, ending an absence from the field that stretched through the team’s offseason program and all their work this summer.

Bell described himself as “a little winded” after going through the session, but coach Mike Tomlin had a more positive take on how Bell fared in his return to the field.

Tomlin said during a Tuesday press conference that he thinks Bell is in “great physical condition” after seeing him get “back on the moving train” on Monday.

While Tomlin was happy with how Bell looked on the field, he wasn’t ready to declare that Bell will be back in his usual role against the Browns this weekend. Tomlin said they’ll watch him at practice to assess how much he’ll play and that he’s “comfortable” with rookie James Conner if Bell is going to play in a more limited fashion.

While the Steelers may not be ready to make any commitments regarding playing time, it’s hard to imagine Tomlin won’t feel more comfortable with Bell in the lineup as long as continues to look good at practice the next couple of days.

This is what our coach doesn't seem to get.....WE ARE CAPABLE of beating the **** right out of the Browns even with out LeVeon. I'd strongly consider sitting him as it will help assure his lasting longer in the season. More than likely Tomlin will run the hell outa Bell so we can win 42-17.
