Bell says Steelers ‘had something special’ but ‘let it go’

Whatever he needs to tell himself to get over missing out on all of that money from the Steelers.

I know, right? Wouldn't it have been more total money in the end with the Steelers? Bell doesn't bother me nearly as much as assclown does though. Obviously, if you will.

I hope Oliver introduces himself a few times Sunday

For your sake, and to shut Coach the **** up already, I absolutely hope this happens.

Pulling for Oliver, Coolie. Going to have to watch even a little bit of the game.

The way the Steelers operate, he would've made more money here not even including what he passed up by sitting out a year. The dude is trying to convince himself that he made all of the right decisions and is a better situation. As a fan, he was a lot of fun to watch on the field, but I love what the Steelers have now with Conner and Samuels.

Le'veon Bell. He's a running back for the New York Jets. He used to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers

DANG, I'd never guessed that.!

Salute the nation

these guys are truly delusional
this POS turned down more money then he got but feels the steelers 'let him go'

how anybody can side with the players when it comes to contracts is beyond me

Not just more money but increased taxes by substantial margin.

Good tax attorneys will work the laws with his other business ventures (rap singer) but they cost $$$ too.

And nothing different than would’ve had to pay for in the Burgh to keep out of trouble from IRS

He better hope for a good Oline with the Jets or he will get beaten like a ragdoll

Good point - not to mention that the cost of living is night and day. Just housing alone is triple the price (at least), so his income is further diminished with all he is paying out just "living" in NY.

Stupid is as stupid does... that would make a good title for his rap album. Put a picture of him on the cover standing beside a pile of burning cash wearing a beanie with a propeller on top

Move on DumBell. It’s over and you made the decision to walk. You turned down 14.5 million last year and a better contract to stay but you made your decision so now live with it.
Grow old with the Jets now and trust me, it will come sooner than later.

Trying to stay relevant. The chapter is finished. Fare thee well fleet O foot.

yeah but he got paid.... oh wait we were going to pay him.... definitely not the brightest bulb

Yes. They let go of the 14.5 million dollar running back and installed the 500,000 running back who immediately out-performed the old guy in every statistical category including TDs, YPC, Carries over 20 yards, Yards Per Catch, and DWB (Days without Bitching)

They also let go of a head-case nut job who literally has to constantly root and dig for **** to be "disrespected" with. Antonio Brown, a douche who essentially stole signing bonus money from Pittsburgh by signing a NEW contract after just one year with another large signing bonus has banked more than 50 million in signing bonus money in the last 3 years.

HOWEVER, he's somehow 'under-appreciated' and treated like a child. Well if he is, he's a spoiled ************ and needs his *** paddled.

Agreed and the New York media will paddle his rear end. Look for Mr 4.0 a carry to struggle on the Jets. Their OL isn’t as good as ours. Bell should figure that out soon.

Bell doesn't have Big Ben to command the attention of the defense. They're going to stack the box on him and he's going to struggle to gain yards.

"I can carry 50 [times] if you ask me," Bell said Wednesday after practice. "When I say, 'Don't hold back,' I mean literally that
One suspects that Bell knows his less than intimidating YPC average means he NEEDS an extra 50+ carries per season to even be in the ballpark of the rushing title.

The last year he played he was 3rd or 4th on the list and he had an extra 50 or 60 carries over the #1 guy.
