Bell might work out

Yep...Looked good today.
 
He looks back in game form and is getting in sinc with the o line.

I noticed the Steelers used McDonald more often, and he's a good blocker, and Nix a few times. That combination seems to work well on running plays.

Nix is a great FB and really improves Bell’s ability to get short yards when needed. Vance McDonald seems to be picking up the offense and adjusting to the Steeler way. Good stuff to see from him.

We also noticed he dropped another pass. Give it time. And his blocking was fine as long he was pulling with the guards.

One thing I can say about Bell in the game. Looking at his jersey, it looked like he was in a car accident by halftime. Way to keep working hard since he was easily the dirtiest jersey on the field!
 
Bell and the O-Line played much better today. It was nice to watch.
 
Tomlin needs to limit the carries some. Conner can spell and should for 8-15 touches, maybe even more to kind of keep bell fresh for later season play. A side benefit to that is if Bell does tumble then Conner isn't quite as green.

His jersey is crinkly,, like its coated with glue.. and his shoulder pads look like a 5th graders.. weird.

Yeah that limit thing. very very hard to figure out. You want him to get enough touches to be in sync, you also are wary about taking one of your best RBs off the field. And leaving points on the field and not the scoreboard in a close game. Now in a blowout I am all for sitting him more.But it has to be a clear blow out. With the team not being able to come back for a win. I do want him spelled to keep him fresh. But I imagine that is a hard decide to just how much.
