Boston Hotel Where Steelers Are Staying Evacuated After Fire Alarm Triggered

BOSTON (KDKA) — The Pittsburgh Steelers may not be facing off against the New England Patriots on a full night of sleep.

KDKA’s Rich Walsh reports that fire alarms started going off around 3 a.m. Sunday at the Boston hotel where the Steelers and many fans are staying.

Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to check things out as guests waited outside.

Hotel personnel said the entire hotel had to be evacuated, but it ended up being a false alarm.

Alarms were going off for about half an hour before guests were allowed to return to their rooms.

The game kicks off at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts at 6:40 p.m.

It was probably a fan or hotel staff. False alarms are a crime and for the Boston police to shrug it off as NBD is ****.

The law in Boston:

The first offense of pulling a fire alarm without cause is a misdemeanor. Repeat offenders can face felony charges. However, the first offense may result in felony charges if the prank results in injury or property damage.

Hoax or not.....I want BLOOD!

This isn't the first time a visiting football squad's HOTEL has experienced a early morning false alarm in Boston. These MASSHOLES definately know how to cheat to the limit. NO CLASS and no integrity, but BIGEST winers ever.

Oldest trick in the book. Never understood why hotel/team staff aren't posted near the things during these bigger games.
 
They shouldn't allow him to be bonded out until after the game.

Obviously no extra motivation is needed for this game. But if it makes the Steelers a little angrier and they use it as fuel..

Not to the point of a distraction, but tell them to take out that anger on the football field, focus but use it as a little extra fuel/anger..

Man Arrested After False Fire Alarm At Steelers’ Hotel In East Boston

EAST BOSTON (CBS) — An East Boston man was arrested after State Police said he pulled a fire alarm at the hotel where the Pittsburgh Steelers are staying.

Dennis Harrison, 25 of East Boston, was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and setting off a false fire alarm.

The Boston Fire Department said the alarm was pulled around 3:05 a.m. at the Logan Airport Hilton.
