Battle for the one seed not part one

Im good with billing next Sunday as the battle for the one seed. Part one is a suposing that you will certainly win your divisional game. Anyone who has watched this team knows it will be a dog fight. When the team is moving together they are good but in every single game they played this season there has been points they looked terrible. Im ok with the two seed. I dont expect too much there next week. Hoping they can find someone to step up more at mlb.

We will need to put up 40 on the Cheats to have a realistic chance. I just don't see us stopping them unless, somehow, everything they have been doing all year (and seemingly sucking at) was geared toward the Cheats.

The Texans aren't a gimme win. They have a decent D and a good running game. Plus, the game is in Texas.

The Clowns will probably still be looking for their first win and having nothing to lose. It's a division rival and they have Gordon back. He looked very good yesterday and we all know how good we like to make scrub QB's look. Kizer could put up 300+ on us with multiple TD's. And, their D is nothing to sneeze at.

If we do beat the Cheats, we definitely can not over look either of our last 2 opponents.
 
I agree the Steelers will need to score in excess of 40. In the past matchups though, the Steelers have always employed the strategy of controlling the tempo, slowing the Pats offense, and trying to keep it a lower scoring game. They always fail miserably. I say “eff it”. Just let Ben and AB go out there and gunslinger. Let Ben throw 50x and challenge the Pats to an exclusively offensive throw down.

The issue will be stopping the Cheatriots defensively. We are going to miss Shazier badly.
 
Be prepared, we will not stop them. If we can get a stop here and there, great, but we need to score on their D. Repeatedly. TDs and not FGs.
 
Get some turnovers. That will help tremendously. We have the players to knock the ball loose, and I'd love to see Brady hesitate and get hit by Watt. You don't think Watt wants to plant Brady? The D is now going to be average, not a top 5 D anymore. But we can still win a Superbowl with this offense and an average D. We just can't expect to win with these stupid Personal Fouls. That needs to stop now. We're not Cincy. Act like you've been there before.

And hope Dirty Red is back, and perhaps bench Cody for Sutton.
 
NE is averaging 29 per game and only have one game over 40. We need to hold them to their average and put up 35.
They don't have much of a running game. Need Gay, Hilton & Davis to play well.

They did bench Sensabaugh for Sutton, or they were rotating. It was hard to follow that being at the game but I definitely saw Sutton out there after Sensabaugh had been abused.

Sensabaugh is the new Cockrell.

Perhaps not even that.

In this NE game Sens needs to be rotated on the bench. One cheek can lift, then the other go down ....and then rotate. That should be the only action his *** sees.
 
Upside, we’re playing at home. Downside, we’re playing the Cheats. I still think they’ll call the game after the Cheats score 99 points if the scoreboard doesn’t go to three digits.
 
Just found out Im going to the game.. im jacked to go, but not overly optimistic. Need the A game ,, lots on the line,, so it should be epic.
 
1) And this is the most important thing they can do period! No Huddle, with a formation tbe includes a TE. And Ben has to PLAN on taking tbe short stuff and extending a very drive as long as possible. They need to not only score on every possession, but they need to hold tbe ball for as long as possible doing it. Keep Cheater on tbe sixeline and make every one of his possessions critical high-pressure possessions.

2) Hit him and his receivers on defense. It needs to be a physical, albeit clean game.

3) If you use the headsets at all, talk nonsense into them. Just to **** with Ernie or make random statements about how well Brady and Bellichik's wives perform various sexual feats.

Defense we CAN NOT try to use 4 LBs vs NE absolutely not, I know "it's what we do", but that will not work especially with our ILBs.
NE will get wr's matched up with our ILBS no doubt. The coaches have to get away from that.
We need our DLINE to have a great game.
Hell use Harrison as a DE with Heyward, Hargrave, Tuitt on the dline.

I want to see the Steelers try to set the tone on offense. Too often they play scared against New England. They have the firepower to put up a ton of points on this team. Bring it.

Defensively, I'd rather try to attack Brady and get in his face rather than sit back and let him pick us apart.
