Great read. It is refreshing to see a kid his age have a plan with what he wants to do with his life after football. It's a huge contrast from what we read about all of the ex-football players out of the game and broke because they wasted all of there money on huge houses and fast cars. Wish him all of the best in his future.

Maybe I miss-read the article pertaining to house value. Did it say $110,000.00 or not. That's not much for a house as per todays values. Show's the young man didn't go all out and "bust" on the home pad. This may attest to his humbleness towards life's ambitions. Good luck again.

I'm also wondering what he learned in school, it seems that it did not prepare him to make a decent living outside of football. With a house that is paid for he would not need to earn a huge salary to meet expenses. At his age he should not have much other than student loans and utilities and groceries. Toss in a car payment although if one chose to one could get by just with mass transit in a city like the burgh.

He was definitely a fan favorite and is a very good example of what athletes should do when they make it in the NFL. Invest because you can't play football forever.
