Looks like Swinney knew what he was doing when he benched Kelly Bryant for Trevor Lawrence. Dabo had the balls to sit down his (black) QB who was 16-2 as a starter, and quarterbacked Clemson to the title game last season...because the coach had the foresight to see what was best for his team -- that Bryant wasn't quite good enough to get through the playoffs, no matter how the media might question his decision. You could tell the Tigers were well-coached and well-prepared for this all-important game...and they overwhelmed a tough 14-0 opponent in Alabama.
Too bad the Steelers' fearless head coach is busy waddling in and embracing his team's failure to make the playoffs. If only he could have managed to beat the Raiders.
