Bama vs Clemson Part Whatever

One of Bama's db's cramped up or sumthin'

Rolled his ankle pretty good, could end up being a break. The side of his ankle touched the ground it bent so far

I'll have to go back and look.
Happened so fast. Just saw him down at the top of the screen.

This game is pretty shocking to me...Never would have expected a Clemson blowout

Uh oh. Harris for Bama looks like he's limping

There's the break Bama needed. Another score by Clemson there likely would've ended the game.

He looked like he was jamming him and something happened. But I dont know how he was supposed to run with him with the body position he had.

That's the technique Saban teaches. Its kind of a sideways shuffle instead of a backpedal. It's why so many Bama CBs have struggled in the NFL because they don't know how to backpedal.

The shuffle works if you are going to press the WR but if the WR can get off that press before the pass rush gets the QB, it's easy pickins

There is a lot of that sort of stuff in college now. COllege coaches used to mainly teach good fundamental football. Today lots of coaches teach cheat methods that work in their scheme.

So many Ol that play in these spreads have no idea how to actually block somebody. They teach them how to just get in the way for a sec because the QB will throw quickly.

This sort of thing has made draft evaluation a lot harder on multiple positions. It used to be that DL and OL were some of the safest picks because it translated to the NFL but not anymore. Now you have to guess if they can learn technique

43 points given up by Bama.
This is some twilight zone stuff going on

That Les Miles is interesante

I think he was just hired by Kansas. I would have thought he'd be able to land a better job than that. Not a top job, but something like NC State level. West Virginia would have been a good spot for him.

Lmao....The Tide is rolling....the wrong damn way!!!

This Trevor Lawrence kid is legit. Did NOT expect this!!!! Keep it up Tigers!!!

I think Kansas is a good fit.
Not as big as LSU or WVU.

Being away from coaching, probably a getting the feet wet approach

I watched the All-American high school game Saturday and top recruit after top recruit announced they picked Bama. I wonder how many of them are second guessing themselves? It is what it is. Winning might be everything to those kids but now they’re realizing it’s not guaranteed. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if some of them bail on Bama.
