This guy shouldn't have lasted this long

Yet Adam Gase is still the head coach of the NY Jets. Houston might as well fire their GM, the fool made Waston the 2nd highest paid quarterback and he traded away their best player.

uh....as was pointed out to you before, Bill was the GM in Houston

don't know of any Texan fans who will be upset by this

Romeo Crennel will take over as interim HC

Adam Gase's days are numbered....... he will be lucky to make it to the end of the season

Who might potential candidates be for HC and GM?

Just so everyone can see the brilliance

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but I find this point to be valid. The Coach was the scapegoat, but the GM was dumping talent this offseason. That and Houstons toughest schedule to open the season this year. 3 very tough squads.

Eric Bieniemy has to be a favorite for the Houston job.

With Houston struggling this year, is it fair to ask if Watson is a tad overrated? Good QB, maybe just not at the level some believe.

Something I have never before written, and pray to the almighty I will never again have to state ...

Read Coolie's post. Pretty self-explanatory.

Pssst, Bill O'Brian is the GM too.

I have defended Coach before, but to make it simple Bill O'Brien is the GM.....

in earlier threads mentioned O'Brien, coach placed blame on the GM....I and others pointed out to him that O'Brien was also the GM....coach continues to ignore this fact in threads about O'Brien

hopefully the pain resulting from this doesn't last too long and you can continue with your normal life

I suggest a few shots of tequila to help you through it

Maybe Coach wants to submit his resume and portfolio of past mock drafts for consideration as GM, and only GM. of the Texans. That'll fuc ... er, I mean fix em.

I would have some Macallan to ease the pain, except for the welching by a certain bomb-driving amphibian who shall remain Ogre-less.

Romeo has Western Kentucky roots. They'll probably be the first team to start 0-4 and win the Super Bowl.

If Cooch were the GM, would be he even interview Cooch for the head coaching position? How would that go anyway?

Coach the GM: "What's your position on the relevance of head size to playing ability?"

Coach the HC Candidate; "I will say with my dying breath that Polamalu was an exception. He never should have made it. Head was entirely too big. Now Chickillo, there was a guy whose head said 'Hall Of Fame'. I don't think he was used right in Pittsburgh."

Coach the GM: "You're hired! Now get out. I've got to call Cleveland and see how many first round picks they'll give me for A.J. McCarron."
