Audio during the Super Bowl

Couple of things that were very annoying. During the halftime show, was the lead singer of Coldplay's mic even on? Seriously sound guy, you had ONE JOB!

And the other thing that was driving me freakin nuts was whoever the idiot was that kept "WHOOOOOOOO"ing very loud EVERY DAMN Broncos play the entire game. Why didn't somebody shut him the hell up? And why didn't CBS move a mic to get a way from the ***?
 
There was a half time show? Was it worth watching without any social agenda attached?
 
I thought the broadcast in general was awful. They have extra cameras to shoot every angle and somehow I feel like I saw fewer replays than a regular season game.

That repay review on the Cotchery non catch was huge and we saw fewer angles than a Thursday night Jags game. Probably because every second the clock is stopped has a commercial playing.
 
I agree. I think Fox's coverage of NFL games is so superior to CBS, it's not even funny. And Simms is your best commentator? Really??
 
Agreed, the broadcast quality was more on par with a preseason game than the most important game of the season. It also doesn't help the stadium is 80% filled with rich folks who could care less about either team so the atmosphere was really lacking.

I also came back in the room just at the end of the halftime show and thought there was something wrong with the color on my TV...thought I walked into a Skittles commercial.

And CBS had to pimp that ****** half time show whenever possible, even in the first damn quarter. Their broadcast was a giant F.

I'm glad the social agenda went right over my head during the show, though, with that mess they put on the field it was easy to miss IMO. The entire show was bad and they probably should have just let Coldplay do the entire thing with a guest artist to collaborate for a song. I actually thought for a millisecond that Bruce Springsteen was there during the montage and was ready to mark out.

I disagree. Fox is trash, but CBS did not have their best effort on Sunday. They really need to do something about Simms and Carey. I don't even care that Carey gets stuff wrong, even if his call is the "right one," but he has zero confidence on air.
 
They had terrible sound during halftime. You could barely hear any of the lead singers but the "main" lead singer was the worst. Had to be one of the worst half time shows ever. Bruno was the only one that gave it even some legitimacy. Cold Play sucked. And, race baiter, Beyoncé wasn't very good either.

I love how Carey ***** up his first shot and then they just kicked his *** off the broadcast. Should've happened months ago. Let's see if CBS is dumb enough to bring his stupid *** back next season.

There you go, I'm so glad to have missed the racial agenda messaging troupe. Better they keep their performances at Barry's crib and off the football field.

They did get some good tweets though....

Stop hating on Coldplay. They have played in hundreds of fine elevators around the world.

On a serious note, Lady Gaga has got a set of lungs on her I'll tell ya.....I didn't know she could sing like that but then again I don't ever remember hearing her sing before either. I always thought she was like a circus act.

She's got a terrific voice and can actually play instruments, at least the piano that I know of, not sure what else. But instead of using her skills to create impressive or thought provoking music, she instead decides to dress like some freak and make brain dead pop. Probably for the pay checks, so perhaps she's smarter than we realize.
 
I haven't watched a half time show since Janet Jackson flashed me and my then 8 year old. I take that back. I think they had Tom Petty soon afterward. That was worth watching.

I thought he made the right call, but they ran far away from him after that. Fox uses Pereira on basically every call, no matter how obvious it is.

There is some clips of her on youtube before she was "gaga" she was very attractive and has a very good voice. She is very smart or crazy the way she has transformed herself

On Nancy and Simms...I have to watch with the sound down. Just too much stupid in one booth.
 
I am SO tired of Beyonce, JayZ, and Kanye................and I wouldn't recognize any of their songs, if my life depended on it. **** the Kardashians too, and anybody that watches that show. And any show with the "Real wives of ___________". you can **** off. Who would ever want to date naked? **** you too.

I seriously was praying somebody would knock him out. It was so damn annoying! How did CBS not hear it and move a mic away from him?
 
For being the 50th SB it lacked everything. No big plays, to much officiating, to many reviews, to many turn overs, political half times, ( not the place or time), less than entertaining announcers, and then an embarrassing ending with the MVP embarrassing his organization as well as the NFL. Finish it off, more talk on after game events than the game itself, on all shows Monday morning.
 
It was a lip synced performance. That **** wasn't live
