As the time it all went wrong

This game was the defining moment for how this team would respond without Ben. The defense showed up. Vick did what we needed him to do for the most part. The offense didn't lose the game. But some stupid play calls and a horrible kicker cost us. And they didn't cost us just one game. I have a hard time believing that a W tonight wouldn't have boosted this team's confidence to rack up W's even without Ben.

I hate to be the reactionary guy, but this just feels like deeper than one loss. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory without our QB against our division rivals at home. This is one we needed. And HAD

Your being reactionary. Long season..10 days off and much needed practice for Vick and the WRs not over yet..

Yep I'm a little drunk and delusional, but we had a lead late in the game and the ******* ball. We win, we're 3-1 and the Ravens are done at 0-4. I'm thinking possible playoff spot. Now momentums gone, team is probably down after playing hard and losing. I'll always love my Steelers, but some **** that happens to this team is unbelievable. We had no ******* business losing this game and that is what makes it hurt.

Bryant will be back Shazier will be back. Hopefully the kicker won't be.

Tit for tat the team still has to win 50% of their games Ben is out of.

And by what we saw today it isn't looking good.

If they make the playoffs, this is the dumbass coaching that costs the home game. If they don't make the playoffs, this is the dumbass coaching that cost the playoff spot.

Lose/Lose

4 separate situations where long 40+ yard FGs would each win the game. They thought they knew the kicker, but he sucked. They changed their opinion and were wrong again.

0-4 in decision making, costing a divisional game probably affecting the playoffs.

Tomlin should bench himself.

Cowher is in town. Don't let him leave!!

**** yes we're being reactionary! We "reacting" to this joke of a ******* game, this garbage happens all the time with these dicksucking losers!

Tomlin was 0-4. Chances are, if he lets the damn kicker keep trying, he makes one of the last two and the game is over.

Critiquing very poor coaching, obviously demonstrated in this stinky stretch of incorrect decisions that cost the divisional game, is not reactionary

I watched The Pirates leave the bases loaded 4 times on Monday night and lose a game they had no absolutely no ******* business losing.....and now this load of complete and utter horseshit.

Pittsburgh sports.......an exercise in incompetence and futility.

I am sooooooooooooooooo ******* PISSED

yeah this was a poorly coached game I can't see where anyone can deny that....

Seriously Send the kicker out??? The same **** who almost missed all his kicks. Into the same end zone that had made him his ***** all nite long..Even Tas is smart enough to know that wasn't the right call. Scobee sucked tonight. Give the ball to Bell. Now that was the right call

If you're not gonna let Scobee try to win it, at least give the ******* ball to Le'Veon. Either way, it was stupid

Simply math Antdrew...

2 AFC losses already and we're only 4 games in. 1 of those is a division loss at home. That aint pretty. We're a quarter into the season and mathematically we're already deep in a hole.

Not that it matters. With this schedule and Pouncey doing his broke leg imitation again and Ben following suit the season was pretty much not going to work out too well this year barring a miracle anyway. Throw in Tomlin's amazing clock management and game-planning and the new "kicker" and you've got yourself an opportunity for another #11 draft pick who will be just ****** enough to not quite be starter material for our "too complex" defense.

Awesome!

Last I checked we are 2-2 wig. Simple math we have 12 games left. Should have won tonite yeah it hurts..But we are still 2-2

We played a terrible offense with no WRs and no running game and were gouged on the ground. We lost a 13 point lead and the Rats scored the last 16 points of the game. We have an old, slow dumb backup QB and we had to run a simple high school offense to try and hide his crappy play yet when the game is on the line TWICE we put the ball in his hands and of course as he has done throughout his career he chokes like one of the dogs he murdered. Having a poor passer who lacks precision in the short passing game make a throw across his body that requires him to be technically correct and of course he is sloppy, stupid and lazy and fails to make the proper throw. Then he heads to the bench and sits there without a care in the world. You hire stupid, lazy people and what do you expect but failure ?

Pretty much the worst play call I've seen in any game, any team, any level of football I've watched so far this season.

It's not simple math. Assuming the Steelers don't win the division. (Which you HAVE to assume) then they play for a WC. That means win/loss in Conference and Division.

The Steelers are already well behind the 8 ball in that category and the season is barely started. It's not simple math at all. Or, maybe it is. You get 8 conference losses and you can pretty well assume you're screwed.

Yep. And you have to take advantage of every opportunity you have to pick up a W. We had this game won 3 or 4 times tonight.

When you're missing your franchise QB, and you're playing a division rival at home, you get a 13 point lead in the second half, you HAVE to take advantage. What other opportunities will we have to win games without Ben? Maybe lots, but maybe none at all - we don't know. We HAD to close this game out.

It's way to early for all of that. I know Ben is hurt but I don't count losses already. We are 2-2. That's it. 2-2 and already the division is lost?? Sorry I don't think that way.

This post^^^. In a nutshell, the past five seasons

You wait until we play a good offense which other than NE we have not. we should have won by two TD's tonight against a very bad Ravens team Vick and all. Extremely bad play calling, horrendous coaching decisions, poor execution against the run. This loss will not be looked back on as the one that could have gotten us to the playoffs. Are you kidding me? With San Diego, Arizona, Cincinnati, all coming up and without Ben, we're ******* dead in the water. I can see at least another 7-8 losses this season. Bengals twice, Seattle,SD, Arizona, Denver, KC, probably the Ravens in B'more and the Browns in Cleveland. But no, we have a great coach though who makes wonderful decisions. And if you're not happy with Scobee, it was Tomlin who made the final decision to keep him but I guess he liked his pedigree like he did Zoltans that infamous punter that lasted all of 3 games. Name me two things that Tomlin is good at as far as coaching. I know he can talk ****.

The thing that pisses me off the most is the god damn Ravens celebrating like they earned some momentous victory or something. You needed idiotic play calling and embarrassing kicking to salvage a 3 point OT victory over a Ben-less Steelers. If anyone should feel worse than us tonight, it's anyone involved with the Rats who wants to take credit for some great victory

Yep this is my exact point

We win this game, the team believes in themselves, believes in Vick, and can hold the ship together.

But instead we piss it away and its "we can't even beat the trash *** Ravens, how are we going to beat these other guys?"

Sure we're just fans, but the players are people too. Their confidence goes up and down too. A W here meant everything. The L is ******* demoralizing

1: Tomlin wears a mean pair of shades
2: His wardrobe style on the sidelines is pretty rockin
(Those are two things he's good at)
