Not to be a Debby Downer here but the vitriol against Belicheat cheating sometimes confuses me. I get it....he cheats and it's not fair....BUT. All through out my life I have seen the same principles lauded and even encouraged. Despicable..yes but also predictable.
When I spent long hours at the drag strip, the emphasis was on hiding horsepower and loosing weight. Both were illegal and commonly practiced by just about everyone...that was winning, that is.
When I ran a distribution center, the emphasis was on delivering truck loads of merchandise to the stores efficiently. My VP offen asked me how many overweight tickets I got that month. The premise being, if you aren't pushing the limits, you're not trying.
How often do we see NASCAR teams paying fines, baseball players had to submit bats for x-rays....well you get the point.
Is cheating despicable...yes, but it is also not as bad as getting caught. That was Belicheat's biggest crime....getting caught. There are a whole passel of folks out there as bad or worsr than him, they just ain't a been caught...yet.

Please note that I am referring to business and sports only. The Bill Clinton, John Edwards and JFK types are not in the same category IMO.
