Ask Sober Fasting Cope 1/15

Wanna coldbeer?

No, but I've come close. Like just getting the pants off and the but sprays the entire toilet.

I had a girl that worked for me once that had that happen on the way back from an event. She was mortified, I couldn't stop laughing. We were great friends though and she eventually left and joined the Philly police force.

That reminds me of a story told a long time ago about a guy's unfortunate episode at Ryan's Steakhouse

Why are you doing that to yourself?

If you are travelling through Scottsville VA, stop in James River Brewery and try their Tuber IPA. Good and hoppy but not overly sweet.

You never ignore a question Cope (even as ridiculous as it is), love ya for that. I was watching an episode of Hot Ones (spicy wings eating contest) where Stone Cold Steve Austin was on and he told a story about how he **** his pants in the wrestling ring once, lol. So that's where that came from.

BTW, Hot Ones (easy to find on YouTube) is a pretty cool show. They have everybody from Tommy Chong to Henry Rollins to Zach Galifianakis on, and that Sean Evans is a great interviewer.

Salute the nation

You're up in Wyoming right DJ (least populated state in the U.S., how can you not love that)? Must be gorgeous up there.

No. It sucks. Don't move here. You're welcome.

Cold winters. Middle of nowhere —- where is Wyoming? ;)
Jk jk.

In the middle of my dreams, but in the middle of most people's nightmares. Some don't like nature, and want it conquered. I want to be conquered by it.

There are only 15,000 people in my whole county. That works for me. Deer walk down my street constantly, pronghorn live right by me, rabbits, bald eagles, large rivers with tons of trout and walleye, amazing sunrises, no traffic, no state taxes, on and on. I love being in a place where there are more guns than in all the gun stores in Dallas, TX combined. There are only five stop lights in my town, and it's the biggest one in the county.

I spent last night at a planning meeting for an annual fund raising banquet for the NRA, next week at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation planning meeting, Saturday we are going ice fishing, and I tie flies while talking on here very often. I also teach fly tying to the kids at the 4H club. I go to a small church and eat at mom & pop restaurants.

Life is good.

no drinking for me. I'm 3 days into my 5 day water fast. I feel pretty good and even played some disc golf today.

What's everyone up to? Who do you see winning the games this week?

Great news on the pro bowl and hof fronts today as well with haden and shell!

I'll be back around 8 after i put my daughter to bed.

How's the offseason treating everyone?

kc-sf....

What? Fasting or masturbating? Fasting is for health reasons. I have a thread in GD that talks about the benefits.

I'd love to check James River, though my taste in IPAs runs the other way. I like them sweet, citrusy, hazy, and as a double or triple.

Great show! I'm a pepper head as well. My dad grows habaneros, ghost, and reaper peppers for me. I infuse vodkas with peppers. We dehydrate the peppers and grind our own spices. Lots of fun to be had there, but yes, when I eat, I usually sprinkle some kind of pepper on my food. I can tolerate 2M scoville units on a daily basis. Things start getting hot for me when we hit 3M and up.

Here's a story with peppers. I had a Philippino friend bring a hot sauce game with 10 bottles of mild through 2M. He also brought wings so he could watch me eat them. I did them in order no problem. He then has to act tough because his girlfriend was there (and he's a jacked hockey player, not tiny at all), so he had to try the hottest. Get's it in his mouth, that's not bad, he says. swallows. Then starts breathing hard out of his mouth. Wooo. Wooo, dude can't talk for about 15min as he's trying to ride the pain, drink water, nothing works. Funny as hell to watch people try to keep up with me!

I free agent that you would/ could sign if you were gm?

TE is a need, and the Steelers need a playmaker. Darren Fells is the type of TE the steelers like. Great blocker and reliable pass catcher to gain 1st downs and score in the Red Zone.

I've always loved Eifert. Wanted to draft him, but injuries have been an issue his whole career, and we just keep recruiting injured TEs, so maybe not.

Austin Hooper and Hunter Henry are also some nice options for TEs that are more receivers. I see Hooper as the better blocker though.

No, I'm not much of a runner. Was into the running phase when Vibrums came out, but now just use them as water shoes.

Do you wear them? Do they feel different than other running shoes?
