Ask Drunk Cope in Quarantine! 4/19/20

cope!
if you had to pick one past player that you wanted to be a Steeler but wasn't who would it be? and same with current player

for me Danny Marino and JJ Watt.

there's an alcohol prohibition in my country since the quarantine started so markets aren't allowed to sell liquor. My bar is already dry, I'm about to start making moonshine, any recipe you want to share?

that must suck...liquor stores are doing booming business in Texas

The problem isn't the recipe. Super easy. Corn. Grind it up. Soak it in water. Add yeast. Wait. The problem is distilling the mash and having a good system that won't infect the batch. Be sure to throw away the heads and tails. I don't want yinz going blind...

If you don't mind me asking.....what country would this be ?? My wife just started a "dry" month of abstainance and I fear I might not survive it.... looking for dry counties or countries to relocate her for a while......:help::help:

What kind of abstinence are we talking about? That could be bad...

If it was someone I could draft. Marino and Javon Kearse are at the top. JJ would have been a great grab. In 90 I refuse the trade and take Emmitt Smith.
Isaac Bruce in 94. Love that guy. Brian Dawkins as well.

Do you know anyone who has Covid 19?

Funny. Seriously though, I prefer Higgins. I may be wrong, but I think he's got a higher ceiling. I'd be happy with either though.

Just busting Slash's chops ........... Sask and I have a bet with him that Claypool goes before the start of the 3rd round.

Another dude I like is Laviska Shenault Jr. ---where do you see him going in the draft ?

Joking..... she likes her wine and morphes into another being when it gets taken away.

At one point or another,............they ALL morph.

Salute the nation

This draft class is sick with WRs. I can see him going anywhere from the end of 1-3, but would be surprised if he makes it to 3. It all comes down to what team is going to covet the skillset they need at receiver. Personally, I'd have him rated as a low 2-3rd rounder, but in reality, I'd be surprised if he makes it out of the 2nd.

I love the receivers this year. I think we will draft a 6'4" speed guy for Ben this year. Higgins or Claypool would be ideal.

Also think we may double dip and take a shifty receiver late. Devon Duvernay, KJ Osborn, James Proche, Amari Rogers. Those guys have return potential, but it isn't really a need since DJ made the pro bowl as our returner last season.

true on DJ, but if he is going to be the starter across from JuJu, i like the idea of someone else getting some return reps.

I do to. The Steelers usually up the tie break on players if the RB/WR can return the football.

Keep in mind, JuJu is a double duty starter. He's the WR in 1 WR sets, in 2 WR sets its JuJu and Washington (the best blocking WRs on the team), 3WR sets JuJu moves to the slot DJ is X, Wash stays at Z. It's not like what happened when AB moved up through the ranks, he became the 1. DJ will not be the 1 or 2 this season, so I expect him to be our full time PR yet again.

And I need to correct myself. DJ did not make the Pro Bowl. He was on 2nd team All Pro. A much higher honor in such a short amount of time.

whether or not he gets the "start", i expect he will see the field a lot. too exciting not to. in modern offense, i consider the 2 and 3 WR's as starters - depends on set as you say. I do think Washington going to have some stuff to prove this year. With a healthy Vance and EE, there wil be some 2TE sets. i can see them putting DJ out there at same time to give some speed factor.

Yes, we have a retirement community under 3miles from here. 77 of the 95 residents are positive, 20 have died. We live in a hot zone here.

Where the heck do you live, and why are you still there???

There have only been four cases in my county, all recovered. Only one death in my whole state, and there are rumors that it was not really Covid 19.

My kid volunteered at that nursing home. She finished her service hours in dec. Thank god

Wow Blitz! That's insane. Great that they got out of there. As they know, it wasn't the cleanest of retirement communities, which is why it spread so completely there.
