The draft will be unlike we have seen before. I don't see the Steelers being major movers. More of pick the BPA on a list of needs and then run around the room with excitement flailing their arms reminiscent of the robot from Lost in Space. Here we have a routine in place and with caring for an immune compromised person we will keep the same approach until their is stable treatment. Might be a long haul. So questions. What is your three realistic favorite options for the round 2 pick? Which position will be picked first for the Steelers? How is your family dealing with the adjustments to date? Do you have a smoker and if so what is your favorite meat to smoke? True or false the Steelers will bring in a free agent after the draft?

Great questions Slash. Personal questions first:
Family is well. I've been home since 3/11 with no plans on going anywhere. My wife sells houses, she still goes out about once a week to let people into a home for viewing, but she doesn't interact with them. Just unlocks. Waits for them to go through, then locks back up. She's also a librarian, and does that virtually. Daughter is doing work from home, between 1-2hrs a day of reading, riting and rithmatic...
Dad and uncle have a smoker and my uncle butchers and prepares his own venison. They're smoking venison bologna, which is my absolute favorite.
Who do they pick at 49? I'm going through needs, and I'm moving away from RB. I honestly think, today, best bet will be a tall, fast WR. The second need would be IOL, position flexible C who has experience playing both C and G in college. To a lesser extant, I'd go S or OT. It's too high to take a NT in this draft for value. Edge is the longshot IMHO.
The only starting positions without a starter are LG an NT. That's it. We filled with Wis, but I see him as a Vet spot starter and not a full timer. That's why I think IOL will be so huge. Plus if you move Feiler to LG, you have to replace him at RT. We have good depth, but are they starter material in the NFL? Not sure yet.
Free Agents will come down to who they draft. They will need to fill the following slots:
ILB
S
CB
OLB
DT
IOL
T
Maybe bring in a RB also, but we are currently 5 deep with Conner, Samuels, Snell, Whyte, and Edmunds.
Keep in mind also the Steelers have a lot of camp bodies from signing 9 XFLers. That's a lot of people. Someone should stick.
