Ask Drunk Cope 9/17/20

One more...more of a puzzle:

Years ago, we bought dinner set and silverware for 8 settings. That means 8 salad forks and 8 dinner forks. Today, after a thorough search of hte house, I can only find 4 salad forks and 3 dinner forks. Where the hell are the other 9?

My only clues are that everybody in the house says: "I don't know."

The entropy of having a family, and the children never know. I only have one, I know it's her, and still she doesn't know... I assume your missing utensils are hanging out with your missing socks somewhere inside the floorboards or walls...

Though looking in backpacks, I've been known to find a few.

Tasty. does not look political to me.

Me, I will stick to football

Cope,

At the end of last season our QB was assaulted by myles garret with his helmet. Garret was suspended for the assault for the remainder of the season.

Subsequently he accused Rudolph of an unsubstantiated claim of racism by using the N word. etc. To further justify his actions.

Question: Do you feel Garret should be fined or suspended for his claim of racism when nobody else who were standing right there, (decastro etc.) could substantiate his claim.

Why or why not.

There was no evidence to his claim. No one on his team or the Steelers, nor the parabolic mics trained to the fight picked up any such thing. He lost half a year, so that is fine for lying about the incident. The fact that he used a weapon to bludgeon a player on the field, he's lucky he's not in jail.

In hockey you can be arrested for using a stick as a weapon in a game. It's time the NFL learned it too. That should have been the route the league took to stop that bullshit from ever happening again.

Garrett, is lucky Rudolph is both spiritual and has honor, otherwise, he wouldn't be in the league.

I'm here for the whole game, men, so keep em coming!!

Answers above, my friend!

Adequate!!! I was Adequate! WOOT!!

Seriously, good to have you back in the chair!

The last question about Lieberman was a trick question. I don't have a sister. But if I did, Lieberman would so be in a body bag for touching her.

There are so many. Lambert, Ham, Lloyd, Greene, Porter, Harrison, now Watt. My personal all time fave is Lambert, but greatness is subjective.

You're right about "subjective" as some of us here actually think you're great.......................

I took over 260 lbs of tomatoes off 40 plants out of my garden. I flood irrigated average every 4 - 5 days. How many gallons of water did each tomato need to succulent ?

Any chance of Banner back this year?

I wish Big Dot had a full pre-season under his belt but no one got that, including opposing teams. How technically sound is he and is his mental solid enough to combat the things he will face Sunday. I think our offense will be on the field more and dominate the time of possession which will give Big Dot more playing time, a positive in my eyes.

Lastly is DENVER run "D" a little stouter than NY Giant's ?

Ha! Love this!!

No question to me Lambert is th best of all time.

Cope!!!!! is Burrows the real deal? if you started a franchise today do you take Burrows or Mayfield?

No matter how great I get, with Coolie here, I'll only be the world's second most intelligent poster!

I took over 260 lbs of tomatoes off 40 plants out of my garden. I flood irrigated average every 4 - 5 days. How many gallons of water did each tomato need to succulent ? The plant would have been a tougher question, but there is respiration by the tomato as well, so you're looking at 2-4pints per tomato depending ton the type of tomato and the size

Any chance of Banner back this year? No. He's not Rod Woodson and we're not saving a spot for him when we hit the Super Bowl.

I don't know how Dot lasted to the 4th. A 1st team All-American. Wasn't on the radar for a lot of teams since he wasn't at the combine, but he still played 5 years, so he had a lot of snaps. He's taking to the coaching well, and he looked good in his 6 snaps last game. If we're running it will help his game, he'll have a tougher time adjusting to NFL pass rushers, and with new starters at RG and RT, we're going to get attacked by the Broncos on that side.

Lastly is DENVER run "D" a little stouter than NY Giant's ? Normally yes, but they have a ton of injures. Missing out on Von Miller is the biggest hit. I expect the Steelers to use a lot of play action to attack that banged up secondary as well and to keep the young LBs at home.

Nice DIC answered above!

Burrows and it's not even close! Man I just don't trust Baker. He has hints of Jonny Football. I just don't trust the guy to be a winner. I think Baker's ceiling is Matt Stafford, but I think he'll end up being 3/4 as good.

We have to catch a game together. We live too close not to take advantage of that!

Dammit, I had the wrong Bush lady. All that Bush talk gets me HORNY!!

Good thing I said tomato PLANTS or your answer may have been sporadic.............

Willo McFarlan get very many touches or will they mostly go to Samuels. I realize McF. Has pass protection disability, any word on how he is progressing?

PS how much time do you spend updating the injury spreadsheet, typically?

News from Cope's house:

I'm starting to love this dog. Never really had one, my wife's family all has dogs. They always had English Setters. Her older brother is a Marine and now is a Fed with 2 explosive sniffing dogs. Other brother is NIH with a Australian Shephard and black lab. He used to have a pitbull that was the sweetest dog on the planet.

So we're working on the potty training thing. The great room has the sitting room/dining room/kitchen area and isn't carpeted. Our living room is carpeted and had been gated off. I took the gate down on Sunday to watch football with her, and she did well. Just 2 accidents since opening the gate.

She goes to bed at 8pm, but tonight she fell asleep with me on the sofa at 7, and just got up because the cat meowed at me to pet her. The cat was not expecting the dog to be out and moved to get away. The dog listened to my commands! It's the first time she didn't chase the cat, so she got some sweet treats, drained, her peanut butter kong and is off to bed in her crate.

Liza is such a good dog! I usually don't leash her anymore to drain her. Just keep her on commands and treats.

McFarland would have been active last week if Tomlin knew we only needed to declare 5 instead of 6. I think snaps are going to be hard to come by for him with 3 RBs healthy ahead of him. I want to see both he and Ray-Ray returning kicks at the same time. We'll have to see if they do that though. But starting off, his best chance of touching the football is as a KR.

For the Injury list, a little more time this week. I made a table for the page and it's like using old school data entry tables in the late 90s... So this week about 3-4 hours. Making the tables, writing articles, I use it for predicting the inactive list. Though, just the spreadsheet here is easy to update it. Usually takes about 1-2 minutes each day. I usually do Tuesday after the presser, Wed/Thu/Fri after practice and Sunday after the post game presser. Then if something pops up, I'll jump on and update the list, but not a whole lot of time on the spreadsheet. I'm working hard this year to get the articles out within 5 minutes of the first tweet report. Today was my first injury article update in real time.

So let me give you my thoughts on this one. Look in the garden or in the garage or in your wheels... I tend to use them as tools. lol.
