Art II has spoken according to Jerry Dulac

He DID leave the door open in is his statements for AB to return. I think this is just some tough love from Art hoping it will prod AB to pull up his panties and show some remorse. He did not burn any bridges in this release of information when looked at a whole. I still think AB will be back next year but who knows.

AB threw this up quickly on his Instagram, so you know he at-least heard Art's message to him.

If AB truly wants to be here

I don't see anything in AB's actions to suggest he wants to be here.

Blount acted like a child and got out. Harrison acted like a child and got out. Bell...I won't say he acted like a child because he did use what the CBA allows him to do but he played the no communication game too. I am sure AB sees that as Bell getting what he wants. AB wants out and he is doing what worked for others and he is going to get what he wants - out. Cripes - look who was hanging with during the end of year Tomlin Presser...James malcontent Harrison.

This dope has created an imaginary war with the local media in his mind. Does he think he can get Ed or Jerry canned?

Does anyone trust tomlin with any picks from a trade? I am not sure we trade a #1 WR for a bust pick

Can any of you imagine a scenario where your supervisor or boss is calling you over a two-week period and you refuse to pick up or return a call? And think you still have a job?

I couldn't do it nor would I.
I think Antonio Brown despite his gifted talent unfortunately has some serious psychological issues.
His selfishness for example is uncanny considering he was able to post over 1,000 catching yards via Ben Roethlisberger; a milestone others couldn't even achieve. By reports, Browns "beef" is with Roethlisberger!
Thanks for putting me in an elite category Ben and oh by the way, FAK U for not throwing to me more while I was being double and triple covered.
WTF? The guy is nuts!

In my opinion Brown either 1.) has such a huge ego that he doesnt care about any of this and is just trolling the Steelers or 2.) Brown is very embarrassed by the situation and doesnt have to guts or is too ashamed to talk to anyone and is trying to slowly work his way up to it. No matter what Brown's actions have been very childish at best. I still think that he has some mental issues going on that he needs to sorted out both on and off the field. I would still be totally shocked if Brown goes anywhere.

AB is typical "new rich" and he has yet to figure out he is not NFL Owner Rich.

Stupid is to go out of your way to make an enemy of the person who writes your paycheck.

AB is rich by our standards (those of us on this board) but he is a gnat in the circles of NFL ownership. I doubt any of those folks look at his behavior toward Art II and think of him with anything but contempt.

I thought Bell's fall from grace with Steelers fans was bad. Brown's was even worse.

Not yet but heading in that direction REAL fast...................

Salute the natio

I wish Tomlin wouldn't return Art's calls.

The week is NOT over yet but I think that ship has sailed,......as in CMVLT is going no where's except back to the lab to sort some of the is **** out........

Salute the nation

AB is pure media, what a tool. Man up and pick up the phone and apologize to the guy thats gave you a chance and then made you a millionaire

AB, like Bell is a guy that until a few years ago was walking around with only loose change in his pockets. Now, because he posses athletic skills he is an instant millionaire, yet still has the maturity of a 12 year old.

Neither appreciates the opportunity life has given them, and feel the world owes them more.

Instead of being grateful they act like spoiled children, and unfortunately because we fans continue to throw away our hard earned money at them, they earn more in one season than we see in a lifetime.

Easy to holdout and feel abused with millions in the bank.

All these cryptic messages on their IG and Twit feeds.......AB and Bell should learn to be a man and just say what they mean. I know social media is a millennial staple, but my God....grow a pair. Show some competency.

AB in the following priority:
A - His money
B - His stats
C - His brand
D - The team
If I’m Art II, Tomlin, the players, how can I trust him going forward after he quit on his team.
He didn’t even have the courage to call his coach on game day but had his agent make the call.
It will be interesting to see how Art II handles this but to me it’s so much more important than what compensation is received in a trade and dead cap space. Yes,those are certainly important factors but the message that will be sent to my younger players in particular JuJu and Washington or any other young receiver that may draft will be more critical. Art has to send the message that this won’t be tolerated from any player not even Brown himself.
I hate to lose a player with such a marvelous skill set but on the same token, Art cannot let Brown dictate behavior, set bad examples for the other younger guys, and must set precedent here now and make every effort to move him out of here.
Who honestly thinks if they can mend the broken fences that Brown won’t have more sideline moments, and off field distractions? He won’t change and that’s not the business the Steelers are in, they aren’t psychiatrists or life coaches, but are about winning, setting the example, being the model for other teams. Cannot do that with me guys like Bell,Brown and Bryant. Looks like two Bs gone now time to let the other B fly away.

Funny, when Art II statement came out, a few of us read the article and came to the part of not returning his or Tomlin's calls. I asked my immediate supervisor, jokingly of course, what would happen is the owner of my company called and I didn't return his calls? We both shook our heads and said, "he's done!".

btw, I still think AB could come back, issue a massive apology to the team, fans, Tomlin and Art II and work hard to restore faith in him being a Pittsburgh Steelers that takes out the "I" in team. All it takes is his tail between his legs and ask for forgiveness.

My statement, if I was the owner, would be.

We are not releasing Antonio Brown. If he wants to leave our team, he needs to first pay us back the 21 million we paid him in good faith to honor his contract, before moving him off of our roster.

I don't disagree but at the same time trading him might be just be rewarding the behavior so what does Art do?

We'll find out how much teams value talent vs. character when we see where Bell and AB land. I think they will both get a **** ton of money. I think Bell will flame out after a couple of years, and AB will be good but not great for a few years. They will both leave the game set for life and not give a **** what bridges they burned. Good for them. As a fan, don't want them on my team. I realize that what the fans want is not even on the list of things they give a **** about. Maybe if I grew up in their situation, I would be the same. I like to think not, but I don't know.

Yeah, that's what made me scratch my head when initially a lot of people were pinning Brown's behavior on Tomlin. That this was somehow his fault or a failure in coaching. AB's 30 frickin' years old! You think the decisions and behavior of a 30-year old need to kept in line by anyone other then themselves? Brown is 100% responsible and culpable for his deeds and actions.

I don't think one poster pinned it all on Tomlin. AB is responsible for his actions.

But the head coach is responsible for limiting distractions, and Tomlin has failed at that.

For him to not share some of the blame, is telling me fans aren't paying attention to a repetitive un-welcomed culture that has developed with more than 1 player.
