The Saints somehow lost to the Panthers. Which makes the NFC South even muddier. With three games left, only the Bucs are out of a playoff spot now. The Saints and Falcons are tied atop that division with 5 wins right now. The Falcons are on the road in Green Bay tomorrow night, and will likely lose. Though with the way the NFL games are this season, anything is possible. Not likely, but possible. The Panthers beating the Saints kept their playoff hopes alive. Who would have thought the Panthers and their anemic offense would hang 41 on New Orleans AND keep Drew Brees in check? A true WTF No wonder those idiots were fighting. Vegas put the odds at the Panthers winning that, too.
The Dolphins, Bills, Texans and Chiefs are all 7-6. You could have expected the Bills to be 7-6 and maybe the fish, but the Texans with one of the top RBs in the league, two good WRs and JJ Watt-led defense should be more than 7-6...right? Can't really pin the entire season on Ryan Fitzpatrick. And the Chiefs...what? Andy Reid offense with ZERO touchdowns from the WRs? All of Alex Smith's TDs have come from the TE, RB and FB position.
The Jets losing to the Vikings in OT may have secured Ryan's future after the season. Even though the Jets are 2-11 (one win came against us!?), they had a chance to win this game. But, putting the ball in Geno Smith's hands has proven to be a disaster this season. A team that has sank so much money in free agency and trading (Chris Johnson, Eric Dekker, Percy Harvin, DogKiller) really shouldn't be THIS bad. Just glad I'm not a Jets fan.
Speaking of 2-11 teams...WTF?! The Raiders, coached by Tony Sparano beat the mighty 49ers. This loss pretty much assures the 49ers will miss the post-season. At 7-6, they're outside looking in...and it's almost a shame since considering the lack of success of the NFC South. This loss would surely hurt the "trade value" of a guy who's been regaled as one of the best ever coaches in any sport, past, present or future and causes one to wonder just WTF is going on with the 49ers. They let Alex Smith go in favor of Kaepernick, who's begun his catastrophic descent from the upper-echelons of QB favor. The fact they gave Kapernick a HUGE contract secures him as their future ****** QB for some time.
and we're in the thick of a playoff hunt and could even win our division if we beat the Bungles...right? Who would have thought that after the ***-drubbing we got from the Saints last week? Seemed we were a team some here were predicting nothing more than 8-8 for the season. 8-5 is looking kinda good (not exceptional or even truly acceptable) considering the bullshit going on this season.
