I don't want to taint this with going back and forth let's all agree Landry deserves to start next week if Ben isn't back. Steelers mother ******* Win all that matters
and Tomlin last week said there were a few plays he had the ability to do it, but the majority he could not. That was directly in response to Vick running vs ten man fronts... it was confirmed that he couldn't audible to a pass play
no we won two games they earned and lost one they earned
One of the best wins of the season so far. Vick probably won't be available next week with a hamstring injury. Here's to the defense and Landry Jones

With the gaffes of not covering Gronk, the defense wasn't bad out of the gate vs. NE. They're getting comfortable and understanding what Butler wants to do.
they aren't a finished product, but Butler has them playing hard, even in the NE game there was some good things.
Moving forward I think there will still be some rough spots, but a damn solid performance today..
Sure, but he should also be on a short leash. The Cards clearly were geared to play the run first sets Vick was in... Landry is still as inaccurate as vick... KC is a different beast and if Vick is healthy swapping back to him if they come out and stifle jones then the switch could well have the same affect.
I am far from a vick fan, and I think we totally misused him during his starts, but Jones outright scares me... he is mediocre in every area. He fits the mold of 90% of the Cleveland starters these last few years... and one of them is that they succeed until teams game plan for them... He is every bit as likely as vick to throw a multi turnover game that sinks us... Short short leash on either at this point... whatever is working stick with it till someone beats it then go back
I thought it would take them till midseason to really start gelling... this is a huge early upswing... this has great potential... there are lots of areas that will improve
