Archer is Digest Player of the Week

Archer had 4 carries for 24 yards and 6 catches for 33 yards. That means he averaged 6 yards rush per carry and a horrible 5.5 yards per play passing. He had 1 good run of 15 when the defense was expecting pass. That doesn't even count the number of times targeted. He played ok but he wasn't great even against scrubs that won't be playing football in a few weeks. He also muffed a punt.

Rah rah rah...you'll find a negative in the kid's game regardless of what he does. Nothing to see here. Let's talk about the two drops by the super big Jesse James - 6'7" - 260lbs and he can't hold on to the damn ball...

But, unlike you, Vader, I won't chastise Jesse for eternity for being big and weak...

He definitely showed a burst.. You can see that he is the fastest player on the field, and given a crack, he will explode through it. He goes down real easily though

he can fit that's for sure

blah blah blah. You still mad because of the other thread? I haven't said a word about James because he was drafted 24th in the 5th round. He is a project. You'll find positives that don't exist about all the players. Archer hasn't done anything but you'll keep saying how improved he is off of one pre-season game where he had ONE good play. You really want to take about how James is doing based on that? I didn't think so.

I'll wait until the games count. He made a couple plays last night, but it's preseason. I want him to contribute, but at his best I see him maybe making a couple plays a game and developing as a kick returner. A little bit of a reach for that.
