Maybe if the next years #1 is thrown in + more draft picks this year they might do it

and what happens if Tampa decides to take him #1?
 
What? That will leave them without their 2016 1st rounder and the ability to draft Cardale Jones!

At this moment Cardale is not a first rounder. By the end of the year, you could be repeating those words in a different tone. Or not. That's the beauty of the Jones story.
 
I really hope the Browns don't get the chance to draft Mariota. I like Mariota, I don't want to see him suffer in Cleveland...

#Titans previously rejected #Browns 2 1st rounder offer, asking for them to include their second as well.
 
If Mariotta ends up a miss, a trade like that would set them back YEARS ....

I am very impressed with Cardale. There was some talk of him going pro. If he did, I think he's a first round pick this draft as this QB class sucks. If Cardale can play as well as he did last season, he's a top ten pick in 2016. As for Johnny rehab, I think the Browns should play him a lot in the pre-season as the starter. Let him sink or swim. It's still too early to cut him.

Manziel has some passing skills. If his mind is clear and he learns the play book, he still can become a decent NFL QB

Johnny Bench would look good in black and gold. Wasn't used properly in Cleveland. :towel2:

Well i suppose EVENTUALLY they will hit with one of these guys. Except they never give anyone much more than a year to see what they really have.
 
Johnny just got out of rehab so maybe he will be something maybe not. We will likely see this year. from reading the crap that was posted the source was likely someone from the dog pound that had consumed a large quantity of beer, has three legs accidentally neutered and blinded in one eye and answers to the name of lucky.
 
I Just can't see selling the farm, in the browns case, the factory of doom, for an unproven talent. Is mariota (sp) worth it? Maybe, but I'm glad the STEELERS don't have to find out.

This is why the clowns are never going to be a contender. You've got to stick to your plan. You can't keep firing coaches, FO people and giving up on players overnight. They have no long terms plans and no real leadership. Terribly ran org.
 
Mariota is a BUST in the making. The kid has serious accuracy issues with any throw more than 10 yards. He's going to BOMB in the NFL! I'd love nothing more than seeing Cleveland mortgage the farm for Mariota....I'll be laffin my *** off if the Clowns go through with grabbing Mariota!
