Anyone see Eli's reaction

That's a Belichick move. They can hardly hurt you there as it's a "half the distance" penalty.

No reason not to do it.

As for Eli's look. I suspect he was one of the guys in attendance who realized just how pathetic Peyton's game truly was and how much the defense and special teams had won that game. Peyton never even smelled the endzone in that game. The one shot he had, he locked in on Sanders and ignored a wide-open D. Thomas while he threw a completely crappy duck over the middle to a canvassed Sanders only to watch the ball batted down. Thomas was WIDE open on the outside. 2 years ago Peyton hits that and it's like eating pringles.

I don't think he was upset because Peyton had caught up to him. I think he was feeling as though he'd just seen a teenage boy purposefully lose to his grandpa in a game of hoops. Everyone around him was celebrating like Grandpa was an all-star while Eli realized the teenager just bricked 17 layups in a row.

Does anyone think that Talib should have been tossed from the game for his tackle of the RB at the two yard
line? That was flagrant and dangerous, I thought he should have been ejected, clearly whipped the player to the ground with the face mask and didn't make any attempt to let go until the player was tossed like a rag doll to the ground.

Papillon

Yep plus he played like dog **** for just about the whole game. He should give his game check to miller and ware.

I also thought it was odd when they showed the whole family in the press box celebrating and Eli looked like someone just shot his dog....

Figured sooner or later people would start talking about it.

I thought Eli and Cooper both showed some relief and sadness on their faces...they know that Omaha is hanging them up now.

You are a mind reader now? You don't know what Eli Manning is thinking or feeling and that is a fact.
Well I saw what everyone else in the room did. They erupted, high fives all around. He turned and looked away and had nothing to with anyone else or the celebration. Normaly you would be happy for your brother and show some emotion.

I think he was wasted. No emotion whatsoever

I think that was more it. They are brothers; there is probably (most likely) brotherly competition. But if you listened to any of his 500 interviews Eli did on this Super Bowl over the past two weeks, you can tell he very much cares about Peyton and wishes him the best. My guess is the partying started early for this game and he was just zoned out from too many hours of drinking.

I don't post much, but I thought it was strange when I saw it. You can't determine why though. Maybe, he has personal things going on in his life that he is worrying about, that are more important to him right now.

Dan Lebatard's father probably has it right. Eli lost a huge chunk of change because he bet against the Broncos.
