Home jerseys ..........with a smattering of pink.
Ugh its Oct 1st. I hate NFL October. The shade of pink they use hurts my eyes seriously. Its all I can do to focus on the game.
lol dont even get me started. Im trying to be a softer, gentler SG.Bbbut, if they don't wear pink, cancer wins.
You know, I go through life being a cynical prick in most everything I do. For some reason, when it comes to football and the Steelers, I place all that cynicism on the shelf, and just play along. Be it breast cancer awareness month with pink wristbands and shoelaces, or the salute to the military -- which is actually paid out in millions of $ to NFL teams with tax-payers money, I just don't care. Rooting for the Steelers to me is my last haven of pure bliss and serenity. It's the suspension of disbelief, much like you have going to the movies. Every time a game comes on I want to believe. I want to believe we'll beat breast cancer with all the pink shoelaces, and I want to believe Mike Vick can fill in for Ben and lead us to victory. It's literally the only part of my existence where I'm willing to forego all forms of doubt and cynicism. But I get your point.Bbbut, if they don't wear pink, cancer wins.
