Any word from the FO?

The three bozos running the show, that’s the problem.
I haven’t felt like this about the Steelers since I was a kid in the 60’s when grandpa Art was running things.
Everyone in the city back in the mid 60’s just knew each year was going to be a joke.
Bad drafts, bad coaches, no direction, just same **** new year. Sure feels that way again.
I am starting to get the sense that what the team of Khan/Weidl want to do doesn't match what Tomlin wants.

I think you are correct but I’m not sure exactly where the hell Kahn falls in all of this.
Andy unfortunately is the assistant GM so he’s pretty much on board with Kahn.
I may be too hard on Omar since he could be caught in the middle between Tomlin and the owner. He’s not what a strong GM should be. Far too much interference from Tomlin which is the owners fault for allowing it.
Art should have told Tomlin long ago, your job is to coach and the GMs job is to construct the roster but don’t think he has the stones to have done that.
Art really needs to step down and let his son take over. Hopefully he has a different and fresh approach.

You think less than that brings change? Not sure what would cause MTs exit. I do think their goal is probably around the 9 to 10 wins… They probably thinking higher but it is an unrealistic want at best.

If this AR thing and Tomlin can **** this up enough, combined with an abysmal lacking season……… there might be true change.

how much under the cap are they 40 m? TJ extended. a QB. what else

For some reason I think it’s 37mil. Remember though, they have to sign rookies and money for emergency in season, that adds up to about 10mil. So they have squandered down to about 27mil and yet to have a QB.

The started approximately 67million under the cap. (My numbers may off a little)

They still have cuts and extensions / restructuresto be able to gain a significant amount of money.

We have 44M available and 2.8M more when Fatterson gets cut. Adams would be 2.5M more, but he won't get cut until after the draft, if at all.

We should either trade Watt or Highsmith and change to a hybrid front 4: DE, DT, DT/NT, OLB, thus lowering the cap on the D side. We need to stop the run, especially in the AFC North.

Thank You SIR, appreciate the info……………..

Remember when Omar Khan was talking like this?

"We went into this understanding that we had three quarterbacks in the last year of their deal, and here we are," Khan said. "Until we get one of those guys, or two of those guys, or some combination of them signed, all options are on the table. We have had conversations with both Russ' people and Justin's representatives, and we'll see where that goes."

"We would like to sign one of the guys that we had last year, but the reality is, they're both free agents," Khan said. "So until we get one of those guys under contract, you know, all options are on the table."

"It's an ideal scenario you'd like to have this done before, before the start of the league year," Khan said. "Obviously, that impacts who you sign, impacts the type of receiver you may go after or how you build the rest of the team. So all that has an effect."

Tomlin screws JF in favor of OldeRuss

When OldeRuss and AS starting feuding Tomlin sticks it out as the team implodes down the stretch doing absolutely nothing

Neither guy wants to come back

Moves on to a previous man crush on yet another geriatric QB

Dude can’t manage a QB room to save his dick

Omar left to the pick up the pieces

Resigns Rudy, a QB Tomlin has mismanaged and screwed before, as a bit of bitchslap

Fans just sit there shaking their heads at the disfunction

Maybe those fans find it in their hearts to start public chants at Steelers games and public venues………..

I’m dreaming of a white christmas, sung early and in hopes of a “big change” as told by both Coach Tomlin and Art2…….

One needs to always remember this…….

In the NFL, things usually aren’t as bad as they seem but on the flip side, aren’t as good as they seem either.

It’s somewhere in the middle of Good / Bad.

1. They should have signed Fields to a 3-4 year contract. We could have easily matched what the Jets offered. But, he likely could have had a bad taste from riding the pine and staying benched after RussTard **** the bed towards the end of the season.

2. I believe they had their eye on someone not Fields or RussTard and that was pulled away from them. Since there’s no public expression regarding this, it’s just my speculation.

3. Drafting a QB would have happened this year, regardless of Fields/RussTard. Except now we’ll be eyeing one in the first (Dart?) instead of much later.

4. Honestly surprised we haven’t flipped a draft pick to New England or Detroit for Milton or Hooker by now.

5. They may as well sign RussTard at this point. Mason throwing to GP and DK ain’t gonna work.
