Rooney said it would be a new throwback and a new helmet. That really cuts down on the options.

Yep...here's my guess and the logic behind it...

I'm thinking the '75 jersey (since it's the 2025 season - making it a 50 year anniversary). Helmet-wise, perhaps they don the "British tan" leather look???

Not a wish of mine just speculating my thoughts on the matter.

I think the green should have been on the pants and Steelers colors on the top. Would have looked much better.

I'm definitely in the minority on this one but I really liked those jerseys. I was a very poor airman when they were released, but I'd have purchased one back in the day.
