Wow, talk about a dream scenario...lose our worst starter to our biggest AFC rival.
Although I could see Lebeau scooping him up.
Oh, man. I may be the only guy on here who kinda likes Blake. I know his issues, believe me. I have said this before though. Some of you have coached. You have that kid who may not have as much talent but scraps. you love that kid. That's Blake. He's a scrapper. I'd rather have a team with scrappers that one with tons of talent but no guts.
One needs talent to win.
Blake is not even a remotely good CB.
I agree with his commitment to the game, and he has impressive instincts, hands and speed, but the guy is stiff as a board.
Pats trying to goad us into overpaying him, like they did with Sanders a few years ago.
Denver thanks us for not "overpaying" him. Seriously I'd be a little careful of laughing at the Pat's interest. Belichek may be a lot of bad things but he is a pretty damn good evaluator of talent.
Do we miss him?
Heck, if Hoodie can turn Blake into a decent corner, more power to him. He has not played well for us. Thing of it is, it's not Blake. It's the coaching staff. Blake did his best, he just isn't good enough. But the coaches continued to put him out there week after week and he continued to get burned. It was infuriating.
