Antonio Brown involved in Domestic Dispute

Been raped a college girl in a bathroom and then showed up at a press conference looking like a fat Drunk hillbilly who didn't give a rats *** about what he did. I think it's a bit different moron

WTF ???

I don't know what people think about AB....he's a great WR....how many great WR's are tools. Quite a few not to mention his father who left him when he was a kid.....why anyone expected AB to grow up to be a great guy when his Dad was a selfish A Hole is beyond me. AB is a HOFer WR who came from a ****** family structure and has grown into being a big ********. Surprise surprise. We need a coach that can bring out the best in him and obviously Tomlin isn't that guy. Ben isn't the QB that will bring out the best character in him either.....because Be. Is a big fat ******** too. Just because Ben got married and has kids and points to an imaginary God after he throws a TD doesn't make him a great guy. Oodles of reports have come out about Ben from the time he was in college of him being a pompous ********. He still is a dickead..... phenomenal QB and I'm glad he's on the Steelers but never ever would I want to hang out with him or have a conversation with him. Until we get a QB who is not a selfish drama queen or get a coach who knows how to discipline evenly to all teammates and is consistent with that discipline AB will continue to be a douchebag. Frankly I'd keep him, fire Tomlin, and get a coach who will get the least bit of douchebagness from AB and Ben as possible but since Tomlin is staying the answer is to trade AB? If I'm Rooney and I'm not willing to replace Tomlin I put up with AB.....just because he isn't willing to fire Tomlin and Tomlin can't discipline doesn't mean you should trade AB.....all you are saying there is Tomlin is worth more than AB and he's not. Find a way to tame AB.....that's the answer. For all you moron douchebags who act like they are the owner and say you are fed up with AB and for him to get out of town are well.....moron douchebags. If you get your mornic wish you'll also get to see JuJu get cometely shut down with a double team and watch Ben left with James Washington and a rookie WR to throw to......then I can assure you Tomlin will finally have a losing season......maybe that's your wish.....dump AB and that's quicker to getting Tomlin out of here.....if that's your angle then you just might be smart but I don't think that's it.....I think you are just stupid and like placing your morality on others. I bet a trillion dollars that if you were a famous star with millions that you'd probably be a bigger douchebag ******* fuckface than AB lol

Seven you have a right to your own opinion, but seems you are implying to much apology for ABs actions are attributed to others and not himself. Sure, AB has a very difficult childhood, no father, rough surroundings. Many people do, and move on from it to be in a better situation. AB did, he got out of the area and worked himself into college and then into the NFL to be one of the current best. But to blame his asinine actions as an adult now due to the coach or even his peers on the team? That’s ludicrous. He’s a grown man. Sure he has character issues, but to blame others for his actions is nonsensical. As with positive work ethic on the practice field, what negativity that happens to AB is what he brings on himself. Period. Blame Tomlin or Ben. Please. Sure Tomlin should have clamped down heavily on AB after the FB incident, and who knows if he didn’t levy him with extraordinary fines afterwards. Whatever the issue is with AB and Ben is egocentric. AB feels he is privileged to be treated a certain way. Fine, but he is also expected to listen to his peers who rely on him and vice versa. Sorry the QB, has rank in file over the WR. Always has always will. He doesn’t like the way Ben calls him on blown routes or whatever issue occurs. He should be lucky he didn’t play with Marino, Fouts, Van Brocklin....or Simms, and Gannon. They cuss you out in the huddle if you ran the wrong route or dropped a easy pass. But to place all blame at the feet of the coach or the QB for AB antics is ridiculous. Why not just blame Tomlin and Ben for AB’s having children with multiple women out of wedlock? His driving 100+ mph on a public street. Or being late to professional and promotional functions? Did Tomlin or Ben set him off on that balcony, or this latest incident? Be realistic.

Was Ben an arrogant person earlier in his career? You bet. He’s even gone on record saying he was a terrible teammate during those periods of events. What happened in Milledgeville was a witch hunt and you know it. You had a college sorority during a weekend of partying that THEY let known who they were looking for. A girl who while enamored with celebrities was placed in an unfortunate situation before coming to her senses. Combine that with a sorority sister who saw opportunity for $$$ through her friend, and a DA who was attempting to show his “dedication to clean up the college atmosphere” during a reelection run.....well the media had a field day with including the DA vilifying a defendant in public from which no evidence was obtained and no charges were filed by the girl or her parents because of the intense scrutiny of the media. Who would no doubt find the true meaning to the DTF name tags on the sisters in the sorority including the victim.

Not absolving of Ben’s actions at that time, but there are two sides and neither was fully vetted. One thing for sure, afterwards Mr. Rooney sat down with Ben and gave him “advice” if he wanted to stay in Pittsburgh. He listened, and his parents got him out of the partying environment and was able to straighten himself out, get into solid relationship, get married and have kids and responsibility. That tends to put a bigger picture in one minds once you are in that environment with a good support system.

Maybe someone needs to sit down with AB and do the same thing. He isn’t getting any younger and the brand is taking a hit right now.

LMAO more idiots trying to blame Ben, this is getting comical. Brady screams at coaches on the sidelines, shows up young players on the field when they mess up by throwing his hands up, but he's an amazing leader.
Santonio Holmes said Ben would call him and they'd go in on off days to work on routes and timing. Said Ben would bring a calmness to the huddle. Batch said Ben would be the first one in the building studying film. Bettis credits Ben for having a big part in his deciding to come back.
Ben when asked about the passing title he won, he said it's a team award, always praises the Oline over himself. He threw the winning pass to win a super bowl and his first comment was about the Oline. Get the **** out of here with the selfish bullshit.
Sounds to me like the guys who are thin skinned guys that need their *** kissed 24/7 thinks Ben a bad leader, but the players that aren't afraid of constructive criticism think he's a good leader

I don't even care what anyone says about Ben anymore. He's the commander of the offense, the leader. He has three trips to the SB under belt with 14 years in the league. If a player doesn't like or get along with him, there are 25 other teams with less than stellar QBs on them. Follow AB and take your chances out the door. I honestly trust Ben more than a great majority of players in that locker room. I can't wait for the day when he is not behind center to really hear the bitching and complaining.

I'm sure this was said in anger as it will be a sad day when BEN is truly gone. I'd like to wait 7years but reality is It'll be more like three.

Wrong.

That was not what happened. The district attorney could not indict or even take it the accusation to a grand jury because of the amount of exculpatory evidence. God forbid you should ever be falsely accused of rape.

Ddddddidddd I sttttuttttttter?

I wouldn't know because I can't hear yaz............................................................................WTF ???

and your print is full of beans....

Local PG reporter is now saying the market for AB is a 4th round pick. Troubles or not, there is no way I do that. 1st rounder or he stays and the law is put down as I have outlined before. If he steps out of line even the slightest, he is suspended without pay and fined. That way he loses his precious stats and his precious money.

That reporter doesn't know ****. Troubled often suspended Bryant got what?

I ignore all the guessing coming out right now. Plus there is alway the Steelers don't have to move him for a **** offer. They hold all the cards here.

I hope you're right. We really could use a 1st rounder for him. One of the ESPN dorks even said after this recent incident, the Steelers were even considering just cutting him with no trade. They have to get something out of him and something significant.

That talking head was just trying to get something started to get you to listen to his spew. Do you really think the STEELERS would just cut him???? NO CPMPENSATION???? NotA going to happen. If he is gone it will be for a trade value of some kind. I bet a mid round 1st or if late round first a 4th is added.

If SF / Jets / Jag's offered a 1st I'd take it straight up.

Don't forget he wants to play for SF 49ers so use that as leverage to get a little coin $$$$ back, say in the tune of 10mil.

I could be wrong but I think that only AB can give that money back, not a team. But of course the team could give him a rich contract more than making up for it.

Probably fast Eddie who has a beef with Brown.

They're probably just parroting propaganda from Steelers opponents like Florio does. If you read the statement from AB's attorney carefully then you'll know why AB's ex likely recanted her story, she was trespassing and the Police probably informed her she was at risk of being charged with filing a false police report, so instead she dropped the whole thing. The Rooneys aren't just going to release him over a domestic spat where AB's ex was likely the one at fault. If it's not a first rounder then they'll likely just reluctantly hold on to him. They have too much money tied up in him and they're not going to just release that kind of talent without compensation. If they do they're stupid.

You are correct slash and that is exactly what my hope was that between signing with a team of his choice and a lucrative contract the STEELERS would get some Signing Bonus back. That all would be worked out prior to the deal so as to include that in the deal.

The problem is they only have a four day window to do it or they have to pay him $2.5 million. It’ll be interesting because they could take a $2.5 million gamble to hold out for a better trade, or decide if they’re not going to get much in a trade, just keep him and hope for the best.

Or they recoup the 2.5mill within the trade by getting some of the signing bonus back. There are a lot of ifs and different ways to save / add but the STEELERS will work out the best contract for them or it won't happen. REMEMBER it is the STEELERS who control everything about AB's contract and trade. Plus 2.5 mil roster bonus is peanuts.
