Trending idea... have a party and do not watch the superbowl... download the commercials afterwards if you must, but watch anything but the NFL... you cannot kill the Abomination with fire, so lets try uber low ratings... preferably everyone participating in something like this selects one or two alternatives so it looks worse on the ratings

Agreed, don't even watch it. Keep the ratings low. Maybe if you hit the NFL in the wallet they'll get the message about the pro Cheats officiating. Spread the word

lol and what will happen, even IF the ratings were to tank for the superbowl (which they won't)? what, the league is gonna have a meeting with kraft and be like, "look, bob, we can't have you guys going to superbowls anymore, we're gonna have to put you on probation for a couple seasons until the fervor dies down, sorry..."...? lol!!!!

It's painfully obvious that the NFL tries to inject fake drama into these games to booster ratings... the super bowl is a ratings monster because of the casual fan parties... give people a trendy alternative reason to party and watch the league squirm until its either dead or goes back to the actual game being the center of the entertainment...

I'm not having a party I'm just skipping it. I absolutely just don't care. I've seen Groundhog day. I don't need to watch it again to know the outcome. I only watched last year's made for tv **** show because my wife is from Georgia....28-3...uh huh. Yeah enough is enough. Elvis has left the building on this bullshit. The rest of the suckers who pump money and time into it can have it.

Get the refs in line and there's no need to even talk to Kraft.

The league has been struggling all season.

The storylines and drama are probably more to keep the remaining fans left.
Next season, just leave our Steelers out of the storyline stuff.

I like when sundays are just simple football.
Team vs team without all the off field drama being centerfold

Time to put Bobby K into timeout

I'm not watching it, I didn't watch the game today either. I have no interest in a game where I already know the outcome. I don't watch rasslin' since the age of twelve for the same reason.

The Patriots should wear black & white uni’s for the big game to match the refs... you know.. since they’re on the same team and everything.

The pats were called for exactly how many penalties today?
Theory A. The pats simply never commit penalties... except watching gametape you can see obvious holds that get called on other teams...
Theory B. The refs are told to ignore it

The jags had how many pass interference or holding calls against them? How about last week when they blatantly did it often and obvious in the clear view of tge refs....

Theory A. The refs just managed to miss all of it last week
Theory B. The refs were not supposed to call it last week

The bottom line is mathematically the probability that one team always gets all questionable calls in its favor... always gets any major penalty in a key point called in its favor ... goes entire games without any major penalty calls unless tge game is well in hand... that stuff is astronomical if random... and we know the same players and coaches go to other teams and get the same types of infractions called on them...

Its beyond fishy... like the Jags convering the one third down tgen getting it called back on a delay if game.... why were they allowed to run tge play... if that was flagged why wasn't it immediately blown dead... moreover does anyone think if they hadn't completed the pass tge refs wouldn't have picked up the flag and said no penalty on the play?

On maybe the most key point of the game the pats get that and then an uneeded holding play the next try... weird how the Jags could maul our guys in key situations and it always be missed... something is beyond rotten in this nfl.. and everyone but casual moron fans and pats fans agree... check out just about every board or twitter feed...

Doofus doesn't even have 1k posts yet and he's accusing me of being a patriots fan LMAO.

Well done, doofus

Accusing,.......****, I thought that was a statement..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salute the nation

Since I live near Philly I will more than likely be at a Super Bowl party, but for the first time in my life I'll probably be one of those women who just goes to socialize and doesn't watch the game.

I was enjoying watching the Falcons crush the Pats last year until I learned that lesson the hard way.

Would be great if the Eagles could pull it out but I think I have more chance of seeing a unicorn than seeing that.

You didn’t even mention the most egregious example of the fix being in... Myles Jack recovers a fumble and is headed the for a touchdown and they blow the whistle..... why? You called it a fumble on the field so why in the **** are you blowing your ******* whistle?

Always a huge SB party at my bud's house in the North Hills. We started back in '09 with the Steelers but kept it up. Beer brewing begins in the morning, beer and other alcohol, cigars, pork and pork by-products abound. The men work in the garage making beer and the womenfolk congregate upstairs and bring us sammiches. As it should be.

So much food and drink that we really don't care who's playing.
