As much as we ***** about Mike Tomlin, at least we dont have to watch Anthony Lynn. Wow. He looks even more clueless than Tomlin!! Horrible!!. Does he even know where he's at?
 
One bad coach doesn't make another bad coach look good. SD is a horribly run team. That's why Eli refused to go there. He knew. They don't spend money wisely and they don't protect the investments they have made. You can put them in the clowns category except with a decent QB.
 
Stupid decision to try and onside kick with 3 timeouts. There has been ONE recovered inside kick recovered all year in the league.
 
Luckily their coach was stupider than our coach. The short kickoff was ridiculous. Short of the Steelers getting a first down on the ground you are virtually guarenteed the ball at your 40 with about 1 min left. Who wouldn't take that.
 
That was a horrible game to watch. Glad the Steelers pulled out a win though.

Agree Vader but their decent QB is winding down, similar to ours except ours is a 1st ballot HOFer.

Let me set this record straight....He has THAT LOOK REGARDLESS....I'm here in Los Angeles & we get all their games

He had the same damn look last year when they were kicking *** @ 12-4...I remember looking at his characteristics then & he always looked lost & always has a "what the **** is that look"

12-4 or 2-4 & he has the same "What the **** look"? .

Yup and when he's gone they'll go back to being 2-14 ever year. That's a horrible ran and horribly coached team. How do you not do everything you can to find a LT when you have a good QB? Nope, just let him get hammered. Stupid organization.
 
Lynn did go for the onsides kick... with 3 minutes to go ... and we countered with Mongrief on our hands team.

then the Chargers kick to the other side of the field.

Tomlin won more than once last night.

The onside kick was one of the dumbest things he could have done. Just kick it short to Switzer he'll run it out of bounds at the 20 and you won't have to go 99 yards to tie it. Just makes no sense.

Exactly. Which is why some coaches should be fired. I understand SD's owner and FO are morons but as a HC you have to know that giving the Steelers the ball at almost mid field means even if you do stop them they can kill you with a good punt.

BTW I thought he actually made a smart decision but not using his TOs earlier. He knew he would have one more chance. So he waited. Then he screwed it all away with the onsides kick. Just horrible decision making. You had the TOs just boom the kick out or kick it short.

Easy call is to kick it short. The Steelers return game is awful and wouldn't make it past the 20 and would also probably draw a holding call backing them up to the 10.
